Last night I played three games — league, for SHADOW’s team. Just for the fun and friendship sake, I m back into the CPS league. I helped the team to win against Nora’s team. I beat Nora(2nd best female player in Sabah!!) 3-1. Hehe.

Assuming you have(otherwise, WHY would u be reading my trading blog??!), have you ever been LUCKILY strike(all ten pins down in one throw. By the way, if u are wondering how many pins there is in a rack, it is TEN, that is why they called it 10-pin bowling)? What is your first reaction when you STRIKE? You will jump with joy(like a monkey, I would say … and disrupting me playing on the lane beside! Ha).
Assuming you have, have you ever LUCKILY bought a counter and WIN the trade? Is your re-action similar of getting a strike? Ha!
But, many more throws you dont get strikes, left a few … or many beginners will throw it into ‘longkang’. They NEVER ask WHY!! Ever wonder why they NEVER ask WHY?

I just want to get a STRIKE, WHY u are telling me all these!! Teach me how to CURL the ball. I know what 10 o’clock thumb release is, ok?? Without realising, frustration getting into your head, you will NEVER bowl well ….

Dont tell me about volumes, stop-loss, averaging, doji, economics, inflations, interest rates, supply-demand, commodities prices, indicators, xxxx , etc etc. STOP!! I just want to get a WIN in my trade, WHY are you telling me all these!! Teach me how to win a TRADE, better still just tell me WHAT to BUY. I know what buying a stock is, ok? Without realising, frustration getting into your head, you will NEVER trade well ….

TEH : I m a bowler … I used 2 yrs to decide if I m seriously taking up bowling, then I registered with a bowling club in Cheras(one-five), playing with the experienced bowlers, learning how to bowl well. I read many bowling books for 3 years … and without fail, asking coaches around and share their views. Today, I may no longer very active in competitive tournaments but with GOOD strong foundation, I could easily beat those majorities. So, personally I m applying what I hv achieved in bowling for my trading. I see the parallel.

morning … quite sleepy as i played bowling last night. It has been weeks i didnt play a game. Anyway, i squad for the coming 9-pin tap competition which only opens to Yellow, Blue and Green categories (average <185). I m in Yellow category and no handicap for me. Others will have 10 and 15 hcps respectively. Anyway, i played 935 for 4 games, averaging 233+, which may not be good enough to qualify. Since the tournament will be held AFTER RAYA, i shall squad again, if i could find the time. Hmmm … the pressure is higher as i rated as one of the favourite! The prize money is rm1200 only. But, to be humble, i will be glad if i could get into top5.
Well, Juandi, Jeffery, Fred Yap and Rahim have been upgraded to RED category. They are surely a better player than me(and as they play every week/day). Phew! Need not to compete with them …

I woke up about 3am to watch the CL’s game … 70th minute it is still 0-0, no show like KLSE …. once in a while, there is anxiety moment(like MMCCorp, Gamuda stories …). I went back to bed and read that they beaten the Belgium team with the narrow 1-0 after extra time!! Haha… tell me, how are they going to win ANYTHING this year with such performance so far. 1-0 vs Sunderland, 2-1 vs Borough and now … LUCKY to win?

Tenants
Our tenant for a month is an Uncle who is working with KC Tan(Southern Bakery). Today, someone finally booked the other room. He is working with Tractors Malaysia. Phew … it is not easy to get someone who want to stay with two young babies around and also not easy to please Mag as she doesnt want anyone she dont feel comfortable staying in. Hmm …
There is a teacher(lady) of All Saints School came to look for the room yesterday … and after half-hour inspecting and asking hundreds of questions, she said she will ask her husband first. Sigh … i admire Mag’s patience entertaining her. I was teaching at home, otherwise i will squeeze her minor brain. Hey, u r renting a ROOM, why inspecting the kitchen, the back of the house or even OUR toilets??! Even asked about my tuition schedule? Arrghh … i dislike ladies, especially gloomy no-life ladies. She even has the guts to ask if she will be safe to stay there!! Meaning? I might rape her? I will ‘rape’ her small mind, and ask her to get REAL.
As expected, she doesnt even bother to call as we guess she is not satisfied. If i ever go to ALL SAINTs school, and see her around, i might get my chance to ASK her many insignificant questions. Perhaps, she could understand how irritating she is …

I have to state firstly that the Olympics opening ceremony was highly creative, a wonderful experience for the senses, and captures China’s cultural heritage and contribution in many important inventions. But this has to be highlighted, not to slight Beijing in any way - just that it is absolutely very wrong. The beautiful girl in the red dress singing was just miming the song. It was supposed to be sung by Yang Peiyi. Zhang Yimou in his creative brilliance would have no problem using Yang (even though she may not be as cute as Lin) and he did notmake the change, but apparently a high ranking politburo official saw the rehearsals and made the decision to switch. Why so artificial, why the need to package, why rob Yang of her talent and moment in history. It is exactly this kind of shallow thinking that cripples the spirit of humanity and mocks human frailty (not everything is replaceable or should be replaced). Maybe we should also change the politician who does not look right or sound right. Maybe we should terminate a baby’s life who did not look quite right as well. Life is already unfair enough, what kind of values are you instilling in the young when you do such things?
The Age & SMH: LIN MIAOKE, 9, the Chinese girl in the red dress who captured the world’s hearts when she sang solo during the Olympic opening ceremony, is the hottest child star on the planet.
However, the voice the world heard singing so sweetly was not Lin’s. It was a pre-recording of another child, Yang Peiyi, 7, who was dropped from the opening ceremony at the last minute in the "national interest". The switch happened at the behest of a member of China’s politburo.
The general music designer of the opening ceremony, Chen Qigang, told Beijing Radio he owed the nation an explanation and he wanted to ensure Yang’s contribution was recognised.
Mr Chen said the original choice for the lead was a 10-year-old girl, who was used throughout the rehearsals for Friday’s opening extravaganza but she was dumped after the director, Zhang Yimou, deemed her "a little too old".
A group of younger girls was then shortlisted, including Lin and Yang. After recording them, Mr Chen’s team unanimously decided Yang’s sweet voice was "flawless" and that she would sing the lead. However, at the final rehearsals a member of China’s ruling nine-man politburo made his dissatisfaction with Yang clear.
There were rumours at the time of the rehearsals that unspecified, last-minute changes had been ordered by the senior leadership.
"We had been through several inspections; they were all very strict. When we rehearsed at the spot, there were spectators from various divisions, especially a leader from the politburo, who gave us his opinion: it must change," Mr Chen said.
"The reason was for the national interest. The child on camera should be flawless in image, internal feelings, and expression. Lin Miaoke is excellent in those aspects, but in the aspect of voice, Yang Peiyi is flawless, in each member of our team’s view."

Welcome to the reality world, I said during the emergency meeting on Monday regarding the CHEATINGS in our just concluded recyling campaign. Win at all cost of mentality. I might be ‘rude’ to point it out blatantly that ALL of us cheat/lie to certain extend. We may have our OWN justifications(God knows best) and reasonings … but somewhere along the line, we are doing something we may NOT DO, if given the chance!
For nature lovers( i m … but can be an extremist/activist if allowed. Better not), we may feel sad and disappointed that the campaign did not really bring awareness amongst students BUT they are all eye on the competition. WHO CARES ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT/NATURE, i said out loudly in the meeting! Come to real world, these kids are NOT educated to know what all these fuss about recycling will bring but … when u said class competition, they will work hard to WIN for their class. What? WHO cares for the pathetic 6% but … the WINNING for the class, the pride and the glamour(huh?? thru recycling??!) means a lot to youngsters, k? Some teachers are really OLD-minded and to think that these kids know nothing is wrong. See … they know creatuve ways to increase the weights of items they collected! Impressive …
Now .. regarding this glamourous girl … yes, many UNREAL shows for the world to see. Come on, you cant be real if u say u believe what u see/hear? UK papers claiming the firework during the opening ceremony are fake, as it is too beautiful/spetacular to be real??! See?? Put whatever show u may want, there will ALWAYS someone out there to comment(+ve or -ve) … but arent we like/adore UNREAL world now? We watch movie … we expect the heroes to flip 360 degrees, bombs to explode seconds after the hero escaped, the VR world and the computerised scenes!! Of coz, the females in the movies must of BIG boobs, sexily clad … in sedutive manner. WE, the audiences are part of the culprits. Ever learn economics? Demand and Supply!
It is matter of time we have olympics for the robots/cyborgs. Hmm … then, we dont hv to practise!! Human do not need to move at all … we dont need to find a cute girl to SING … we can have a virtual sexy lady projected 3-D in the middle of the arena and do stuns HUMAN could never able to accomplish. By then, no one will question … is that real??

Assembly this morning in low mood … well, they ‘discovered’ cheating in the recycling campaign. Yes, you heard that right!! Cheatings are so rampant that even in our small scale of re-cycling campaign, some students cheated on the WEIGHTS of the recyclables. They put water into the plastics, wet the papers, mix the steel cans as aluminium cans … etc etc. Sigh … and as student-advisors, we dont really know what is the best cause of actions.
It is because they made the recycling campaign a COMPETITION!! In any competitions, HUMAN will do whatever it takes to WIN. OH, we all adore winners(unless u are ME … a cynical person!!) .. cheers them on, yes you got all A in exams, gold in Olympics … wow … you collected the most girlfriends or slept with most gorgeous guys in town! Ooppsss … i mean, u collected the most recycables. 6% of the sales will go to the winner. That is rather a small token for most of my RICH($$) students … cant even buy their sports pants.

I believe they will charge rm2k per hour!

Tonight we will play against the top team, KS Lai’s team. If we can beat them, we will be the champ for third consecutive season!! But it will be down to the wire, yet again … we are leading only by a fraction of a point. If we lose tonight, we hv to settle for 2nd. I m not sure if there will be next season as many teams pulling out and they might not hv enough team to hv the league on. I hope i do not even use my Thu night for tuitions. I need to hv a break … and i feel relax while playing bowling! Hehe …

morning … Gamuda moved up 20cents and being the most active counter yesterday. Market still bearish … need to be cautious but if we pick the ‘right’ stocks at its low, we need to be patient to wait for it to appreciate. Counters like Resorts and Genting are everyone’s favourite. Many at is low too .. but as a saying goes, cheap can go cheaper!! That is what happened to SCOMI that i bought(at 0.985), and currently at 0.53. Do you consider it at trading at CHEAP level? Its NTA is 0.77(the latest AR 08) … and it is overly sold. Yeah right … if you thought it is cheap, wait till someone rape somebody and market will shake with it!
SODOMY? Haha … you may laugh your fat ass off but they are still playing that scene. Cant believe such immaturity of our MPs and VIPs. The concentration is never in development of our country — education, economy, infrastructure etc etc — but we are now drawn to front page of newspaper, looking forward to some sort of drama. Perhaps, someone will claim that someone in the opposition corner is sodomising/raping someone in somewhere … nope, we dont need proof … we have good actors/actress in our cabinet!! I hv been reading many trading blogs recently and get to know three so-called expert-traders. Their full-time job is trading, reading charts and read news — etc etc. And being PAID for it. I m not … in fact, i m paying expensive lessons in experiencing the ride with KLSE. Zrrrooommmm … we are move down from the high of 1500 to 1100 in 6 months time. I dislike roller-coaster. Sigh.
Anyway, Gamuda is still gathering many interests and still the most active counter traded since the opening. Scomi is up and busy with many suitors too … i could only watch at the sideline and trying to understand the WHYs … hmm … when i read the EDGE on Sunday(spent 3 hours digesting many biz.news), i know VERY CLEARLY that Gamuda will be targetted(before that, i hv read a research report about GAMUDA — the call is BUY BUY BUY) … retail investors like me will depends mostly from news, reports or hear-say. It is kinda ‘risky’ if u dont know what you are reading/hearing, tho. Back to Gamuda … I dont know when the buying will stop — it moved up from 2.20 level to 2.70 level now. It doesnt need to make any sense trading in KLSE … we need more INSTINCTs(females hv this much more than male species), we need GUTS(males claiming they have more of this) and … a little of LUCK? Damn … i m for one a non-believer of LUCK(all is in your own hands blah blah) but someone ’smart’ told me the element of LUCK is also needed in trading!!
I would like to equate TRADING with my BOWLING!
Bowling : you may be playing for many years, not know any theories but still going for competitions. MANY of Sabah’s bowlers are in this category — once you spend many hours and $$$ playing endlessly, throwing the ball(tho u may NOT know WHY you get a strike or how you spare etc etc), you will get the hang of it and you will average 170(stagnant) and go into competition as once in a while, u might win something. This is being anolog to the traders(like me now) who trade(buy/sell) without knowing WHY you buy/sell … once you get the hang of it, from so-called experience, you will continue to trade(it can be addicted) as once in a while you win ’something’.
I categorised this bowler as novice and they will never go beyond their 170 level. Because i realised that 10yrs ago before i took up the game seriously, i make a commitment to LEARN the theories, use and practise it on the lanes and continue to LEARN from the better knowledgable bowlers. I hv graduated from the ‘novice’ level and proudly say that i could beat ANY novice anytime(at 90% confidence level) …
Now, i need to apply the similar strategies in my trading!! GET OUT OF BEING NORM! That is wat i m trying to do … at the moment i m strrugling as i m like in the trial-and-error period. I m confused most of the time … so, i need to find WHAT suits ME, my personality. For exmaple, i have played spinner before(with average of 180 but after two years?) … but i still opt for a simple straight( not beautiful to watch) ball which i could play consistently(even without much practice). That are strong basics with applications. If i could learn most of the theories available, diligently studying the concepts(and TRY to understand the pros-cons) … may be, one day I might be able to tell the difference. Maybe someday i could apply it successfully in my trading and will TEACH according to what i have achieved. Not many will agree …. but by going against the norm, i believe we could be ourselves. To heck with the mass.

morning — the new CPS league starting tonight but i have to declined Fred invitation to play for his team. I will hv a tuition class on Tuesday nights, so i dont think so i could be in the team. So, i will only be playing occasionally at Sutera. I hope i wont give-up bowling someday due to my tight schedule(with classes). Bowling is the way i relax … with some of my friends.
EURO 2008 reaching its semis : Germany, Turkey, Russia and Spain. I did not watch any of the games, not even a repeat. Well, i dont like watching football, actually. Unless the team i support playing (Liverpool and England). New season of the EPL will starts in AUG … till then, football is out of my system.
I went to see the Bandar Seirra apartments on Sat. I do like the place there, about 5 km away from our new campus(due next june, we were told). After discussing with Mag, we decided to hold on to our old rented place as it is near KK city and also near my current working place, STTSS. During the recession, CASH is KING. Many stocks will be at its bottom … and houses will be sold ‘cheap’ly. So, i need to be patient. BUT, the worry will be the increase of the construction materials(by 30% so far … steel, cement and transportation) … houses built in future will NOT be any cheaper. Today you cant really find a decent new home below 200k.
Anyway, i will wait till my two kids bigger … they need to go to ‘nearby’ schools.

A place to stay
I went around the Menggatal area(Taman Permata) to look into an apartment selling at rm170k. I like it as it is only 3km away from our new campus and it is about 1000sq ft. Yes, ample space for me to breathe, hopefully. It is difficult to find a property below 200k nowadays. With the ascelating cost of living, low income people like me hv to live with just basics — but that is ‘good’ to me as i could get away from the attachments of buying things!!

There is a ’small’ competition last night — DOUBLES. One Yellow category players and above + another below Yellow category player. I m in the Yellow(unfortunately) … so, i SMS my good friend David to partner me. Haha … we both seldom practise la but he is OK. On … only 12 pairs registered and i m very happy to get to play with him. David, loong time no see … you mana pergi? Haha. We speak in Malay as he is a Kadazan-Muslim. Well, he played very well (192 average — well above his normal 175 average game!) but i played below my own level(182 average only) … we got no 3, and only 11 pins behind the 2nd place(Paul Thien and Haji Md). I m satisfied … winning some money is a bonus, but a good friend still willing to partner me, priceless! Hehe

KL Trip
I will be in KL on Thu night, flying immediately after my INTI class. Then, will be at Sheraton Subang Jaya for the SAM’s Maths Lecturer workshop on Friday. Sheraton … it gives me a memory. Well, too personal to be written here as many preying eyes/ears around. As i mentioned, this page is no longer personal, i couldnt speak my mind and it is my own doing.

it is almost 2pm — just for the record, i didnt play well in the last 3 games of 9-pin tap as i hv difficulties with lane 1&2. I should hv experience enough but perhaps long time i did not compete. I was positioned at 5(of 48 players) after game 9. Oh yes, i played a perfect 300 for the game 9. That is my 2nd 300(9-pin, of coz) in a competition.

noon — i squad with Guslin last night. I did not ‘yue’ him but happened that he is there. Anyway, gllad to hv a friend to play with. I was tired after INTI class from 4 to 6pm. But, that is never my excuse.
I played extremely well to qualify for tomorrow’s final. Those in KK and reading this can watch me play vs many top sabah bowlers there. I m positioned no 5 currently(of 80+ squadded so far). Most importantly is to qualify. I did with total pins of 931 + 40(hcps) over 4 games.
10-pins : 206 and 192 and 9-pin-tap 265 and 268. Fantastic.
Hope i could hold myself in a piece and do well tmr night. I will just play myself — target to be in top 10, again.

morning … went to do the weekly wet-marketing, bringing Mag and Er to the nearby pasar. I guess few of the aunties’ stall could recognise me by now. "lau she" … they called me. Errr … sound weird being called ‘teacher’ by aunties whom i do not teach!! Even when my students address me that way, i feel ‘awkward’? Hmm … i should be used to it after 18 years of teaching? In fact i started teaching(giving tuition) since i was form 5/6, to my neighbours’ kids. BUt, officially i started teaching in Stamford in 1990, APRIL. Currently i m into my second year with Sinaran. I do like it here … maybe just that my passion for Maths is waning … or is it teaching?

Comment : I do not disagree that academic results is VERY important to success. BUT, it all boils down to what you term SUCCESS as. If success = money, , status, power …. then, yes. MAYBE you might turn out to be a doctor/specialist or whatever highly-demanded desgination BUT even that does not guarantee money, status or power you crave for. You see, as human we will become GREEDIER. Your human/inhumane values changed as you ‘move-up’. From a naive you, you might turn into a cunning person, playing the tune according to the society, in the name of SUCCESS. Look how innocent/naive you were when you were 5 yrs old? Today you hv mastered the skills of giving excuses or blaming, no longer NATURAL(with your emotions), etc etc … what we all ADULTS condone. We hv ‘accepted’ lies or bribery as part of our lives(to certain extend). How many of us talk about HUMAN values these days? Hmm…
It is an interesting debate … i attended one by my students before … speaking about the pros/cons of EDUCATION TO THE ROAD OF SUCCESS. It is debatable. Because most PARENTS(subset of a society) seeing RESULTS is important, it makes ME very stupid if i say RESULTS is not everything. It is like we all going out and tell people that MONEY is not everything. It is important but not EVERYTHING? Tell that to anyone these days … MONEY is THE ONLY thing in their lives!! RESULTS is the ONLY THING in students lives!! When the students graduated, MONEY, STATUS and POWER take over! And the cycle continues …
To me EDUCATION is the most important part of growing up. Education starts when we were 2 yrs old … and it starts from home. Nothing to do with exams, it is all pleasure of learning. Learning process is education. Failing a Maths exams is education. Playing a volleyball game is education(winning or losing is part and parcel of playing) — how you take it and such. Can students stand up and tell me they ENJOY going to school as they find the subjects they are learning in school are interesting and widening their knowledge? I could continue to open-up a debate on how INCORRECT our society sees EDUCATION. Our students no longer enjoy learning in schools anymore(compares to 20/30 yrs ago!). Teachers NO LONGER enjoy teaching in schools. To them, it is like ‘no choice’, or it pays for my living or got longer holiday ma? Teachers stand up … tell me that you LOVE EDUCATION, you teach because you ENJOY seeing the youngsters learn some knowledge from you. You are proud and touched as today is teacher’s day — to recognise your teachings!! Arrghh … i m very doubtful about the sincerity of my UNEDUCATED society — students and teachers alike. At least i cant proudly say that i do enjoy what i m doing! Not many in working adults enjoy what they are doing, fyi. It is like not many students enjoy what they are learning from school. Or am i wrong? Hmm …
For your info, i was fascinated with Maths and Geography … so, i studied the universal Maths, … and global world’s geography!! I do not really bother much about the syllabus(till one month before PMR/SPM/STPM exams). I studied for knowledge … while failing in my school’s exams! It is NOT wise, obviously. That is plain STUPID, many reminded me. But i think i enjoy studying more than some of my friends who get all the ’A’s?! I dont feel stress doing Maths 4hours/day?! Hehe …

Morning … it is gloomy outside, going to rain with strong wind. We all read about the disaster in Burma, the typhoon … i do not read news, that is all the little knowledge i hv regarding the disaster. Also, the quake in China. Again, i hv no knowledge about it … just heard ’someone’ reporting it in staff room. Yup, i hv pulled myself AWAY from newspaper … it is not something new. I hv done that with great ’success’ that at a point, for few months i do not know what is happening in the whole world. I m confined to my own world, struggling to free myself from the ‘illussions’ i m facing. Many of things i m doing seems to be NOT real.
For example, the coming OPEN DAY — again, i drag to be "maths projects" for the sake of exibition to SHOW to some VIPs our knowledge in Maths? In real, NOTHING that they learned could be applied just yet. And me as a Maths graduate could not even come out with our own ideas on the so-called projects. Yes, it is a good exposure to SOME students. Most in the group do NOTHING, anyway. BUt in their testimonial, they want it to decorate with "OPEN DAY" Maths project … something like that, which making me feel ‘unreal’ and ‘frustrated’. Stupid society teaching our students to follow the trend — do nothing, get the name and shout it out!!
Anyway, i m diverted again … lets drop the open day issue. My mind is not functioning for a month or so now. I could see that i m struggling to find the vocab while writing. the flow simply not there to blog/write. Pardon me … i m in drugs. Hmmm …
The moment i enjoy most is the early morning(dusk) when i will wake up about 5am(no longer 4am … i dropped reading biz-news too) … sitting still staring at the ceiling/walls and observing my breath. I m trying to learn to meditate — it is hard. I couldnt still my mind as it floats to many things that stress me down. I can feel that i m tired — emotionally. But, once i m on the move, i know i hv plenty of things to do … my blog pages is a place/venue for me to speak to myself …. i m trying to be sane in the midst of this insanity.

morning … i was busy finishing the exams draft of INTI FINAL EXAMS, and still got one more to set — the RESIT paper. The due date is next week. No joke … it’s a lot of works teaching in INTI(without bonus or increments for past 6 yrs!) … besides the cramped staff-room(and the stress amounted by Mr Wong, the boss). We have to set two full-set of exams paper, final and resit, every semesters(3 semesters x 2 = 6 sets!) WITH FULL SOLUTIONS given! That is only for one subject you are teaching. An average lecturer will teach about 3/4 subjects, which explains WHY many left(including the lazy me! Haha) the college. The number of students has increased after i left(as i chased away students? LOL).
Phew! In a way, i m glad i made the right decision to come to Sinaran … it is greener here. Another 2 or 3 of my ex-colleague friends interested to join IS. Once we move to new campus, we will need more teaching staff(and admin too). Perhaps, the proposal of INTI combined with IS might come true, one day? Then, i will hv many friends in my working envirionment! At least they know and have accepted how ‘authentic’ i am! Haha. *blush*

More on that before end of May), oh yes … birthday! Hmm … friendship day? The school will have graduation day, open day, xxx day. Arrghhh … we have "pi" day on March 14th(pi = 3.1415 …), whatever day …
oh yes, i forgotten … teacher’s day is coming! Hmm … How many of us really have the REAL feellings for all these so-called special days we are celebrating?! Call me what-ever you want, i do not think so we deserve all the celebrations without further understanding of the significance of the days! Hmm … married people will HAVE TO remember their wedding anniversary … etc etc … yes, anniversaries are those days you supposed to remember, otherwise you will be seen as stupid ‘ignorant’?? Haha
Trading : The super-bull on steel-related counters. I missed the boat by selling off my Kinsteel, and i hv been eyeing LionInd/LionCor for 2 months, yet what is holding me back from going into it? silliness … inexperienced shown! Sigh. I will learn from this, hopefully. Steels companies are up by 30-60% at the moment after the announcement of the abolishment of the ceiling price of steel! Hmm … i m too busy to read my tonnes of news … perhaps, i need time to pause. Will give KLCI a total skip till next month. There is someone saying another correction will be done in june/july. Should i wait till then and get back into the market?

Bowling
This Thu i will be available to play at Sutera! Yeah!! I will take the game as a practice, then i need to squad for next weekend final. I think i hv a fair chance to be in top 10. Aiming high to be in top 5, i need to maintain 190 average for the 10-pin(over 6 games) and then go all out to score in my favourite 9-pin tap(another 6 games). But, firstly … i need to qualify. I think i should be very high socres to qualify. I will try that this weekend.
Thomas Cup/Uber Cup
I read that Korean team "gave" up their group ties in order to increase their chances(not to meet china or indonesia). Manipulation in sports? Hmm … where is the sportmanship?? I watched last night the women Uber team beat the Japanese! Malaysian ladies surely improved. They will be up against the Koreans next. China surely will win the UBER cup, anyway. NO excitement in Thomas or Uber cup as only a few countries being able to really give CHINA challenges. Malaysia has an outside chances to upset China?!
Liverpool
With MU crowned the EPL champ again, everyone is talking about the clash in Moscow. I was reading in Liverpool’s website that they are selling many ‘old’ timers. Crouch, Riise, Kewell, Pennant, … who will they bring in to make the REDS stronger next year? Will they be fighting for 4th spot again?
EPL is another boring league(Keegan agreed) as only a few RICH power-house dominating the top spots of the league — it will be MU, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool again next season. So predictable that it does not generate interest in me … more reasons to give EPL a total skip next season!!
Running
I jogged last week … i can feel a sharp pain on my left knee. Yeah … i gave up marathon/walkaton 10yrs ago after i injured my knee … doctor said i need to do ‘minor’ operation on it (that minor ops will cost me around rm3000+). So, I took up bowling instead. Well, i dont think so i will take part in KK first marathon in OCT. But, the 7k run by the Sutera should be interesting …

morning … it is friday. On Monday, school reopens. Hmm … i did not do anything at all except marking papers and my tuition classes. I m here to start to do my SOW(scheme of work) which expired months ago! I need to update it from week 1 JAN08. Haha. Ok … i m reluctant to do paper work(for the sake of doing, without any values!). In fact, no one will read what i m going to type! Hmm …
sutera league
anyway, last night i played bowling!! Yeah … it has been 3 weeks since i played in Sutera league. We hv one new-comer, Isaac Russell! Arghh … how could they let Malaysia player to play in a small league with us? Hm … wait, he is a sarawakian. What is he doing in KK? I was bowling in the lane beside his(luckily he is playing for a weak team, but with him in their team, surely they will climb up) … whoossshh … his is really fully with talent but perhaps too big-headed? Otherwise, he should be playing regularly in Malaysia bowling team! Hmm … Malaysia bowling team is of WORLD standard, mind u.
Well, while i played my average 180+ game, he easily played 218 average! WOW. We were up against Jeffery team, and he played an impressive 207 average too. He will be playing for Sukma soon. Luckily we played well and won 3-1 to maintain our second position. Me and Fred are at 190 average level currently.
