morning … just now Mag reminded me that i will be older by a year in few days time.

How do you want to celebrate? Hmm … can we hv a nice lunch at the Taiwan Restaurant? That is all i want … i want peace, peace with everyone, peace with myself and peace with God. That wont be easy …

Currently, I m looking for :

1. A place — house/apartment — near the new campus. I dont wish to travel daily to work except for tuition classes.

2. A new tenant to take up the vacant room

3. A new tuition class — STPM, if possible — to replace my out-going tuition classes. A student with her group might start next month.

4. A new site to download songs — i still do not know how to download from limewire. Actually, while typing these lines, I m downloading Kylie’s X(the whole album). This site allow me to download many new albums but i could not search for many more albums in the 80s/90s where i like.

it is almost 2pm — just for the record, i didnt play well in the last 3 games of 9-pin tap as i hv difficulties with lane 1&2. I should hv experience enough but perhaps long time i did not compete. I was positioned at 5(of 48 players) after game 9. Oh yes, i played a perfect 300 for the game 9. That is my 2nd 300(9-pin, of coz) in a competition.

Will take a break from bowling too. Enough.

Dont know if i could blog about my dinner(under Rotaract with 4 of my students and Mr Lee) at the USS Ship. One of the younger chef so leng-chai, man. Hehe

Photography

I hv developed greater interest in photography. As a starter, i wont be buying the expensive equipments. I met the group from Kinabalu Photography Club. They were in the ship to take some photographs — dont know if they are employed that night or invited as the official photographers. Anyway, i want to develop this interest as a hobby. I like pictures of landscape, or natural-beings. NOpe, not human. Human are NOT real when they are in pictures(listen to Family Potraits by Pink! Haha).

Yes, i will register for classes and follow the group with their ‘outing’ assignments. That will be very exciting!! My constarints will be my TIME. And i need to re-charge my energy level too(currently at low level la) …

Camera? That should be my first buy! Perhaps i could get one for myself as a gift for myself! Haha. Well, i seldom buy things for myself, u know.

Trading : Airasia 1.14 and Resorts 3.26 are moving down? When will be the time to BUY these stocks? Airasia is in news — price war with MAS. Resorts? Hmm … didnt read biz-news for a while now, so i dont know why. BUT, i know why KFC price has been appreciating!! Well, i have been taking KFC 3 times now since Jan2008. That is like 3 times more than last year! Haha

Ok ok … in the serious note, because of Dr M dropping a bombshell(frontpage headline of Sabah Times), many counters shaken by the hiccups! Arrghh … when is the war of words by our politicians will ever stop?! It is affecting the stability of the market!! KLCI will be down drastically today … will it ever recover? Or i think i should let all these bickerings to be over … be patient!!

SAM meeting

we have a lengthy SAM meeting as the CEO is worried for the batch of students. The exams is nearing and the students are still very weak. Some plain lazy. I m in stress too as i m one topic behind scheduled. Anyway, i hope to give a few extra classes during saturdays. Hope the students will attend … Oh yes, I MINUTED this meeting … i dislike all these paper-work but i m forced to.

EARTH DAY on 22nd April 2008.

Morning … my Maths paper exams right now. After this, i will hv 150sheets to mark! Arghh … iu couldnt be blamed if i take more coffee than i should this week, k?

I m lost … i dont know what to write now as too many things cloud-ing my mind. From the marking of papers, Scheme of Work, Visit from the Australian SAM’s Dr Tony … to trading, songs, Liverpool CL, bowling … i m simply LOST!

I think i hv my hands full of things i need to do. Sometimes, i feel of pausing … seeking into my heart. Pray … and let Lord be the guidance. I could claim that i could manage many of the things thrown to me … but is that what i really want? At times, i feel so frustrated with my surroundings and it seems that NO ONE understood what i m doing. No one to listen to my concern … thus, i prayed. I prayed yesterday morning … but i dont seem to hv the serenity that i look for.

Noon … just came out from MathsDept meeting … 2 long hours talking nothing much. LOL. Main topic is the weak students who are taking further maths. This event will be held on 12 OCT 2008 and will be the first Marathon in KK?! Interesting … i m too un-fit even for the half-rathon(21km), so i will opt for 10k. Hmm … that will be … 6 months to train? Should i take up this challenge after >10yrs of lay-off? Wow. I dont think so i could run 1k!! Haha … the last 10k event i participated was in 1997 Selangor Open(with Visha … we trained together). Not a bad time … i clocked 48:15 minutes(below 1 hour, you will be given a cert of merit).

So, Chong Peng … are you seriously thinking of this run? 10k? It is like running from here to Putatan, u know … arrrghhh … i hv taken my life easy, man. Should i push for it now? WHY should I? WHY NOT? Hmm …

Will consider it before making the commitment. Perhaps, i may even promote it to my students, see if anyone want to join and we could train together! Hmmm … that will be more fun, man. Hehe

End of this year … i want to scuba dive. My interest is being sparked by Dr Jag again … i think i hv the motivation to do it this year. Otherwise, i will always find excuses to postpone my desire … maybe i could catch sting-ray by their tail? Hehehe …

morning … i m a little blurry as i hv been facing my notebook(and now, this pc) since 5.30am. I was looking into some alert stocks!

Trading

Yesterday market was up … and some selected counters SHOT-UP by 10-30%. Wow. Kinstel is one of them … so, i sold it off for a profit. I bought it last Friday for 1.22 … yesterday, i went up to 1.35(i sold at 1.34). Yup, that is how i m going to play now … cautiously pick a counter, wait a while and take-profit.

So, the first stock i bought last dec was ASTRO 3.30 … and sold for 3.58.

Then, I bought GPlus and lost some money there due to cut-lost. It is trading at the 1.35 range at the moment after pludged to 0.85 at one moment(from 1.80!!).

The stocks i m holding current are Ranhill(2.33), Jaks(1.42) and LionDiv(1.81). I bought it before election, and they have dropped drastically. At the moment, Ranhill is at 1.53, Jaks 0.675 and LionDiv at 1.29. All the counters I bought are popular and volume are at a high. In fact, VOLUME is my main criteria before i stalk any stocks.

I will look back into Scomi and Scomimr this week. WahSeong or Hiaptek interest me too. Perhaps Airasia or Astro too?

9.30am Market opens … Kinstel still moving up but i hv sold it. It is trading at 1.40 at the moment. Anyway, Jaks 0.685, Ranhill 1.54, LionDiv 1.31 …

Average Malaysians IQ is 94? Interesting … IQ does not mean how many "A"s you scored in your exams, k? i just finished my 8 - 9am class with my year one. There was a complain made to CEO regarding some lecturers like to scold them. Hmm … i do scold them, so … i perasan la. Haha. The funny thing is that i learn how to scold without affecting my mood. Haha. It is just an act. Hmm … guess i m in the wrong line again, i could hv get myself involve in some of the drama/movies … that will be another exciting career. Never too old to change! Hmm …

Well, i need to get back to my paper-work. Need to complete the LAN-SAM document … arrghh …. off for coffee.

Fri 11th Apr

morning — i was here in school 6.30am as we have SC meeting at 7am. Yup, this batch of young leaders agreed to hv meeting at 7am as it is difficult to find the time where everyone is ‘free’. Most of them hv practicals, lessons, tutorial and tuitions. And the advisors(6 of us, including me) are busy with other things too. 7 am is the BEST of time.

Now, punctuality is the main problem here. I hv to blast it out again during the meeting as half of them were NOT there around 7am. Many late by 10-20 minutes! And we are running out of time as we hv clases at 8am! Hmm … high level of commitments are needed here. Please solve your own personal problems and since we all agreed to the time, KEEP IT THAT WAY.

Contacted OSK to buy Kinstel before it flew off again. It was trading at 1.80 range before election and was pressed down till 1.11 at a point. Currently it is moving up to 1.22 this morning. Yup, i hv asked him to buy at this price.

I hv to forget about LionInd and LionCorp which have appreciated 20-30% for the past 2 weeks. Also, Scomi and Scomimr is moving fast up too. Even my Jaks appreciated 15% so far. Is this an indication that the correction and bottoming done? Or is it another round of bargain-buying only to be dropped AGAIN due to profit taking? I will be more conservative now. Once it appreciates 10% or so, i will SELL. No need to hold for too long?

But, i will be accumulating either HSPlant or YNHProp. I was thinking of Tenaga of Maybank, but these blue-chip may take a much longer time to reach its value again.

morning … i m physically trying to recover from my hectic schedule and lack of sleep due to football! Haha. Madonna when she was young? Taken at a club-house.

This is a picture of Madonna who was the fashion icon of the 1980’s. Maddona was considered the "Britney Spears" of the 80’s. She had a very unique style that teenage girls loved to copy, however, parents didnt like the look so much. Hair was cut in layers to accentuate the natural waves. This was alot different from the Farrah Fawcett flip of the 1970’s. The punk look was in but added to it was alot of glam (like the look in the picture). Big gothic jewelry and lots of bracelets and necklaces were also popular in the 80’s. Mini skirts were very popular and still are today. Alot of women wore mini skirts with leg warmers which made a major comeback in 2005. Leggings were also worn with leotards and legwarmers. Leggings also made a major comeback in 2006, and I for one love them. I hate 80’s fashion, but one good thing came from it and that was the leggings. One of the most popular inventions in the fashion world of the 1980’s was shoulder pads. They were made for power dressing or giving a strong look that showed that women were equal to men in the office. The bigger the shoulder pads the better. Converse shoes were also very popular and I remember my dad telling me that wearing converse high tops could make the difference of whether you were popular in highschool or whether you would be an outkast. Leather Jackets were also very popular thanks to Micheal Jackson and they were often studded and wore open to look sexy. The more bad ass a person looked, the cooler they were.

morning … i m blurry as i woke up 1.30am … and to watch LIverpool to BEAT Arsenal 4 -2 at 2.45am. Fantastic results wil plenty of dramatic moments.

Arsenal scored first … into 12minutes by Diaby. Then, Hyypia equalised in 30th min thru Gerrard’s corner. Second half, Torres scored … very nice goal in 69th min. They just need to hold on till 90th min to win … but Arsenal scored(fantastic run by youngster Wilcott) to make it 2-2. Liverpool hv to score with 5 minutes remaining. Yes, i minute later Babel was fouled and Gerrard scored from the spot. Very exciting as Arsenal hv to score with 3 minutes left … Babel run into the middle, brushed aside Farbegas and sealed it. 4-2! They will meet the Blue(2-0 at home) for the semi-final.

HENNA

The different words for henna in ancient languages imply that henna had more than one point of discovery and origin, and different pathways of daily and ceremonial use. Henna has been used to adorn young women’s bodies as part of social and holiday celebrations since the late Bronze Age in the eastern Mediterranean. I need to finish setting the FM2 TRIAL, and many teachers here will conviniently use one of the past year AGAIN for the trial(due to LAZINESS to type and select questions — WE ARE BUSY la). Chia chasing me for my trial — i know i could just take the NOV 07 A-level paper as trial … BUT i will NOT follow those monkeys. I hv voiced out my dis-pleasure to the CEO last year when CHIA(being head of dept??!) used June 2001 paper(even with different code!!) as the NOV trial paper. So simple … need not to set — just photocopy the whole paper. I can do that in … err … 5 minutes? BUT, i m here struggling to select good questions for my trial! STUPID or HARD-WORKING? Neither … it is my belief, holding to my principles. Teachers without principles will NEVER understand the actual meaning of EDUCATION. Sigh. I need to continue to finish my papers …

2nd April ~ Wed

Morning … I need to set the FM2 trial soon … thinking of the resources and typing. Hmm … nope, i m not the many teachers here who will conviniently used the WHOLE past-year paper(normally the NOV07 paper for JUN08 trial and JUN paper for NOV trial!). Also, I will NOT cut-and paste from a pdf onto word etc etc … I am LAZY too, u know. But, i appreciate some quality works.

Anyway, i m still very BUSY … once the international "SHOW" office is over, i m concentrating in EXAMS papers … and ALUMNI. Time to start somewhere(from NOTHING) …. someone have to initiate and do the donkey-work. I m not given any carrots, mind u. Haha.

Extended SC meeting

Dont know WHY they called it with such a name — we had our first meeting yesterday. It is kinda FUNNY as the SC put it as 3pm-4pm as it is simply IMPOSSIBLE to follow the schedule!! We are talking about all club’s presidents, all group leaders and all SC with ALL 6 advisors. That is large! Cant they efficiently hv the meeting in ONE hour? Hmm … i was telling Leong about the reality check needed in the current new SC.

To begin with, they did NOT start the meeting punctually, as always. I was there 2.55pm(class till 2.50), and they were cleaning the room as the SC yr2 was having classes till 2.50 there. Now, after all the cleaning … 3pm, MANY of those supposed to attend the meeting still NOT there. I was told by tan-tan some having their science practical?? Haha … i was showing my pissed-off face! LOL. Well, the meeting dragged till 4.15pm and i excused myself. You cant blame me … they said till 4pm, i already given extra 15 minutes of my time! My mommy is here to fetch me, i cant let her wait there outside, right? Haha

Yi Ki done a very good SHORT report on what we Rotaract Club going to do. NOW, this morning a complain from AMY(our reception lady — 20 yrs in IS, k?) that my Rotaract committee were using the room(international) and pc to do some work! I trusted my kids, i do let them use the room. But, someone must be ENVY of the facility given to me. FINE! Mr Lee and CEO were even thinking of letting me to use the room left by Benjamin(head of Liberal Arts) but i refused. It is simple … MANY will ENVY, why Mr Teh a mere NEW teacher here is given a room?? It is NOT fair!! We are here for 10-20yrs, u know … they might wail. Some will cry louder, others will show their disgust!

1. DBKK campaign against litter-bugs. Yeah … KK is a very dirty city because many NOT civic-minded. Serious, it was a shock when the first time i came here! THROW ANYWHERE EXCEPT MY OWN HOUSE COMPOUND. Sad to say, some DO NOT even bother to clean their own house? Own room? Own shit? LOL

2. Bukit Harapan donation drive by Rotract Club — Nice clip by the committee. I thought of veiwing it before being shown but guess it was in a rush. Anyway, my committee headed by Yi Ki and Kevin doing a very good job. Leong was touched by the plights of some handicap kids there and pledge to support us! Yeah!

3. Blood Donation campaign — we collected 211 pints this year and that is a great achievement, in my view. Doesnt matter we didnt break records? haha … who cares about the records?! We should see that MANY of IS students really CARE to donate or help. Bravo. Hehe. I m glad to help-out … especially speaking to them about the AWARENESS of blood donation. It is good for you! Want to know how come i can be awake 4am in the morning … lasting till 10pm, non-stop? Or even on last sunday, played 12 games of competitive tournament without training and got top 10, as always? Haha. MY SECRET … DONATE BLOOD REGULARLY. Haha.

Mac 31st ~ Monday

morning … another un-usual weekend, particularly yesterday.

Yesterday, i do not hv tuition classes as usual. But, we woke up early to service the Kancil(ini tukar, itu tukar! Haha). I brought my note-book to key-in some data. Then, off to library … went to Penampang’s rather than the usual KK State library. Oh yes, two weeks ago, i registered Er as a member(for above 2yrs old only). He was 2 yrs and 2 months! And might be the youngest member there. I was joking with the lady — apa dapat being the youngest, when we congrats me for regirstering the latest and youngest member. Haha. She just smiled … and said, ambil-la semua buku-buku tu … haha

Anyway, I was there in the library to read Personal Money. Yup, i do always read magazine from library(free reading!!) and nowadays INVESTMENT related news attract me. Hehe.

We went off to Taiwan Restaurant … yum-yum .. i was really hungry or was it because i missed the food there. Hmm … then, idea came to me … perhaps i could suggest to have one of the workshops there!! Nice place, nice food … got white-board. LOL. Telematch on the beach too! Then, Mag asked … will that for the staff? Of coz not … those grown-up and so-called educated teachers DO NOT hv the brain to enjoy life! They will start to complain that it is TOO FAR, TOO HOT, TOO TIRING … blah blah … you know how irritating those DUCKS are. Haha.

Anyway .. we went back to melinsung and i done some cleaning … the last time we went there were 3 weeks ago.

Swimming time … yeah .. we went for the pool this time … ER want to swim ar? Yau … haha.

JPA scholarships

Many of the students applying for this JPA scholarship after they obtained their so-called good SPM results! Hmm … are the scholarship for those extremely good results students(10As and above) or for those fairly good results but POOR students?? Hey, JPA .. get your acts right. You are being UNFAIR, UNJUST and INCONSISTENT. Those stupids parents(and many ignorant students) do not know what is the criterion for applications etc etc … can u get the INFO CONSISTENTLY out to the public so that they are slightly educated about it? I know it is more convinient for JPA to keep it a secret(in order to get under-table or asking people to lick their ass?) … after all, since when MALAYSIA is transparent? Oopss … perhaps the OPPOSITIONS SHOULD be more transparent in many senses?

Look … there are many POOR students depreived of basic educational needs. And my RICH students, some driving cars(with 2 or 3 handphones! LOL) applying for JPA scholar-wtf? I m saddened being a Malaysian — they are so SELF CENTERED, they think they DESERVED or have every rights for the scholarship. To shit with those poor ($$ sense … many have better MORAL than the $$-rich students). Arrghh … dont wish to get myself work-up again. So sad living with stupid, $$-craze society. We are losing our values …

CPS 9-pin tap tournament

Anyway … after my swim with ER, we rushed home as i got a tuition class. Cutting short the class as i wish to got o CPS to see if i hv a chance to play in the 9-pin tap competition. I m in ‘yellow’ category and being the first reserve, i might hv slim hope to play! Hehe. BTW, i went squadding —975 of 4 games — on Sat(with Trish Khoo .. she played badly and couldnt qualify). I was rushing … reached there 6.45 when they started to called for reserves. I hv not taken my dinner … i know i will face some problem later. As always they will give the priority to the "Green" category … but most of the 18 reserves did not turn up including KET and Maurice(used to coach them but then … they are NOT serious in bowling, i dropped my case). Daniel Tan was there … waiting but they never call his name as he is placed 12 places below me in the next reserve list. Yup … i was … errr … lucky to be able to play? LOL

Ok … i told myself that i m going to play my own game, by myself and not to be distracted by any beruks there. Some will try to ‘psycho’ you so that they could win! Some sore losers are there too … 48 to play 12games — RM150 each(each squad costed them rm28 and many squad many times to be able to play in last night final!! Few hundreds dollars and believe me, most of them will NOT win anything!! They dont even know WHY they lost! LOL — William Gan, another INTI-gang was there to play).

I was given the lane together with Jacky Ting(wow … he is back playing? I didnt play there for months … many new faces too), Chong Chung and Azreen(a Sukma trainee). Arrghhh … i dont care .. i m going alone tonight.

After 10games … i was averaging 235 and positioned 3(of 48!). Game 11 … my sliding leg failing me. Off balance a few times, i only manage a low game of 188. Then, last game 12 … i need to play above 250 to get back to no3 but Jacky Ting played 300, Rahim played 298 on the lane beside and Chong Chung played 297. What a pressure!! I only managed 227, ending with position 7, averaging 230!! Wow .. not bad for a person who didnt play in CPS for months now! Haha.

CPS cant even give us a decent envelope with type-written words! Sutera done it very well.

For category, i was no 2 … hehe … won rm500 from the game. Simple yet pleasuring(with pressure) game, indeed. Err … William got no 32(of 48). Dont worry .. many of those lost few hundreds(yet again) in many tournament will NOT ASK WHY they keep losing to similar players, even CPTEH who is playing a straight ball with 10 pounds! LOL. I always hv the last laugh.

Notable players below me - Paul Thien(19), Juandi Jali(21), Sulaiman23), Guslin(24), Rosdih(31), Ozzer(39) and the cocky Radzi(48) who walk-over after 2 low-games. Yup, he is one of the lowest mentality bowler there tho he is skillful. Never win anything due to his low characters!

Jaks : 0.71 , Ranhill 1.67 and LionDiv 1.25 … market is down a little this morning. I hv NOT bought any of the babes, believing that there will be another round of corrections. Besides, everyone keeping an eye to US .. hmm .. I get no signal from Pluto. Perhaps, i should communicate with the underground, afterall … people going to Cheng-Beng for?? I used to dream of my grandma before Cheng-Beng. I was her fav grandson? But, since i m in Sabah, i didnt go for Cheng-Beng. But, i do pay her visit when i m in KL. Instead i dreamt of CAELY on Friday noght. I told Mag about it … it was trading at 0.31(this morning i check, it moves up 5%!!). Caely? I do not look into second-board these days except for Bornoil. Hmm … will my dream come true? LOL. Some people believe in dreams … i m not talking about dreaming wwith your eyes open or goals. I m atlking about DREAM as it is when you are ASLEEP. LOL

With the name SAD(student affair dept), no one-the we are sad. Haha. Ok … i m in-charge of Volleyball. Hmm … long time never hit the ball. Hehe. Wonder if there is any good/state player around who can train me to play! Haha
