I shared with my students(100+) the writings by S.Dali this morning during my Maths class. It is written direwctly out of my mouth, so to speak. This is my main concern and DISAPPOINTMENT that I m staying with our UN-educated malaysians around me. They don’t understand that their STUPID degrees/masters WILL NOT make them a better person, an intellectual being and contribute to mankind!!

Graduation on Sat for some students — these days we have FEW graduations in our lives. Haha … talking about qualities vs quantities. Never mind … too busy to write.

I wanted to upload songs and also embed youtube but I dont know HOW with blogsome. I like blogspot much better. So, I will MIGRATE to blogspot for NEXT YEAR blog.

Yes, I m busy with my trading blog, but I still want to write in my personal blog, especially about our clowns in Parliment. We are talking about FINANCIAL CRISIS, these jokers(HIGLY PAID with a lot of $$ masuk pockets) talking about trivial race issues, YOGA(what is fatwa), and some still more interested who will sodomise who next. Laughing stocks, man. Embarassing to know SUCH a mentality in our LEADERS? Haha … some dont even know ANYTHING, except how to talk-cock. You may ask them to suck my cock!! REally frustrated to mention about these CLOWNS!! Buuu-huuu

NEGATIVE WORDS INSIDE US

If our parents can set a lifetime of programming with one wrong statement, imagine the kind of programming you are doing on a daily basis with your own internal dialogue. Here is a list of Toxic Vocabulary words.

Notice when you or other people use them.
?But: Negates any words that are stated before it.

?Try: Presupposes failure.

?If: Presupposes that you may not.

?Might: It does nothing definite. It leaves options for your listener.

?Would Have: Past tense that draws attention to things that didn’t actually happen.

?Should Have: Past tense that draws attention to things that didn’t actually happen (and implies guilt.)

?Could Have: Past tense that draws attention to things that didn’t actually happen but the person tries to take credit as if it did happen.

?Can’t/Don’t: These words force the listener to focus on exactly the opposite of what you want.

This is a classic mistake that parents and coaches make without knowing the damage of this linguistic error.

Examples:Toxic phrase: ‘Don’t drop the ball!’Likely result: Drops the ball.Better language: ‘Catch the ball!’

Toxic phrase: ‘You shouldn’t watch so much television.’Likely result: Watches more television.

Better language: ‘I read too much television makes people stupid. You might find yourself turning that TV off and picking up one of those books more often!’

Exercise: Take a moment to write down all the phrases you use on a daily basis or any Toxic self-talk that you have noticed yourself using. Write these phrases down so you will begin to catch yourself as they occur and change them

Last night I played quite badly in the 3-6-9 bowling tournament. Well, lack of match practices and missed so many simple spares. Hmm … luckily I do enough to recover the game fees.

Arsenal won!! Wow … MU won too. So, can Liverpool beat the BOTTOM team WHU tmr morning to go to top? They lost to BOTTOM team Spurs, remember? And of coz they cant score against Stoke or Fulham. Torres is injured again … who is going to score the goal? Gerrard? Or perhaps Reina? Hmm …

Currently we are discussing if we should revert back to the one exams sitting for the A-level.

Maths Genius — The Star

KUALA LUMPUR: Anyone can be a mathematics genius by developing his or her own technique to solve mathematical problems, says mathematical genius Shakuntala Devi.

Such a technique could be developed by mere concentration, she said.

However, she said that there was no standard procedure for this, as everyone was unique.

“All they need is the power to concentrate to awaken this gift,” said Shakuntala Devi, 69.

Human computer: Shakuntala Devi, 69, hopes to hold workshops in Malaysia for those who want to learn to awaken their gift.

“I do not teach mathematics, only how one should concentrate,” she said in an interview here yesterday, adding that she could turn mathematics haters to lovers.

Shakuntala Devi is currently on a world tour conducting seminars and workshops titled ‘Mathematics through mind dynamics,’ and Malaysia is her first stop.

“The human computer”, as she has been dubbed, will also be travelling to Singapore, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand as part of the tour.

Shakuntala Devi, who was born in Bangalore, India, to a Brahmin family, has had a love for numbers from the time she was three years old. By five, she was an expert in complex mental arithmetic and was faster than computers.

She founded the Shakuntala Devi Educational Foundation Public Trust in Bangalore.

Her ability, which she described as a gift from God and gives her great satisfaction, has enabled her to make a living since she was three.

Shakuntala Devi, who is not married, is also proficient in Hindu Vedic astrology as it is connected with calculations.

“I write people’s horoscopes based on their date of birth and guide them to better their lives,” she said.

Ahmad Badawi —> read here. This is a very interesting writing on him : From Hero to Zero. Haha.

Like it or not the outgoing Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi would be remember as the weakest, laziest, useless and the most indecisive PM this country ever had. From the start he doesn’t have the minimum quality, both academic and leadership, to become the PM. He was put on throne because the former dictator, Mahathir, who had ruled Malaysia with iron-fist for 22-years “thought” Badawi was the tamest breed of hamster pet he could ever afford to warm the seat temporarily before hand-over the premiership to the current deputy PM Najib Razak.

Little did Mahathir realize that his hand-picked hamster would bit his hand and ate his “cheese” while refused to stay temporarily as promised. What frustrated Mahathir more was when Badawi decided to play marbles with the Father of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, a person Mahathir hates the most even to this day. Things got extremely ugly when Mahathir found out that Badawi was actually sleeping on the job and left the daily management of the country to a bunch of hippies led by his own son-in-law, Khairi Jamaluddin. Without grassroots support but yet was ambitious to become youngest Prime Minister before he reaches the age of 40, Khairi and his “4th Floor” boys were said to control almost every decision made by Badawi.

Abdullah Badawi - Rise of a Hero

Of course Abdullah Badawi had his glory moment when in 2004 he led the Barisan Nasional (National Front) to a landslide and historic victory with 90 percent of seats in the bag. It was the greatest victory ever. Four years later on Mar 2008 general election Abdullah again led the BN coalition party of 14 political parties. Only this time it was a spectacular disaster because not only the National Front lost five states inclusive of the most developed state of Penang and Selangor, the arrogant coalition also lost its treasured two-third majority in the Parliament. It was the greatest defeat ever. I guess not many world leader could claim such trophy. To be fair the 2004 victory was a direct result of people’s 22-year of unhappiness under Mahathir’s racists divide-and-rule scheme and the threat of fear using the draconian ISA on whoever that could threaten Mahathir’s iron-fist grip on power.

Badawi 2004's Reform Promises

What Abdullah did was to add the slogan as the catalyst and the people were flocking to him as if he was God. Badawi’s promises for reforms were too good to believe yet that was what the people had been waiting for. The newly crowned king was so popular that a pathetic DJ (enough to say his name consists of two character) from 988 radio station was so obsessed that he immediately compared Badawi to China’s legendary Justice Bao (包青天). People were relieved that the country was finally free from the dictatorship and the feel good factor was on the air. Even the then opposition leader Lim Kit Siang was singing songs of praise for Badawi. Little did the 20-plus million populations realize that their nightmare had just begun. He was known as “Mr. Clean” so how bad could he be?

Abdullah Badawi’s journey to Zero

Hidden by the shadow of arrogance Abdullah Badawi thought he was invincible with the grand victory and he started to sleep on the job thinking he could fool the people all the time. Instead of surrounding himself with good advisors, Badawi chose to get close to shoe polishers. He thought his slogan should work forever and people won’t mind if he "sleeps a little". In fact he was an empty vessel who happened to be there at the right time at the right place. Furthermore if he managed to fool the old-fox Mahathir, chances are he can fool almost everybody. Who cares if all he got was only Islamic Studies under his belt and can’t even articulate any idea, let alone vision, to the audience. Obviously he has zero knowledge in Economic 101. He was the King of Sloganeering after all and that’s enough to stay in power - at least that was what he thought.

Dummies for BadawiHe might survives the premiership even to today if he was smart enough to at least engage smart advisors, regardless of race and background, to do his job while he continue his sleep. Hey, the saying goes that if you’re not so smart then employs smart people to do your chores. That was why I hope my kids will never be so smart because if they are, chances are high they’ll ended up working for someone else. But I guess a PM who does not have properly functioning brains deserves what he’s getting today. The final stroke of bad decision was obviously the forever fuel hike that caused the inflation to skyrocket. He went back to sleep thereafter leaving his deputy to urge people to change their style (again?) of living. When average-Joes on the street were having difficulties putting foods on the table that was when the earthquake started and tsunami hit his coalition party. The captain lost 5 states in the Mar general election. And when he thought the tsunami has ended, the next 78 sen (41%) fuel hike was announced and naturally opposition Anwar won Permatang Pauh by-election handsomely.

Badawi Weakest PM everThe second item on the top list that contributed to his fall was perhaps his continuous “racist” policies inherited from his master, Mahathir Mohamad. His party, UMNO, was allowed free hand in flashing racial cards ranging from brandishing the “keris”, telling the non-Malay that UMNO do not need a single of their votes to stay in power, threatening the non-Malay with “13th May” (again?) incident to even intimidating his own component parties such as Gerakan into submission. It was the highest degree of arrogance, abuse of power, mismanagement and corruption that led to the people’s “Makkal Sakti”. Myth-wise, his downfall could also be contributed to his decision to marry divorcee Jeanne Abdullah nee Danker, former wife of Abdullah’s late wife’s brother. Not sure if Badawi had consulted feng-shui master (can’t afford Lilian Too, Joey Yap or Master Soo’s consultation fees?) but it appeared his new wife somehow “accelerate” the end of his political career, talk about bad luck or “four pillars of destiny”. For this you got to give credit to Mahathir because he is a big fan of feng-shui. His “Islam Hadhari” could be blamed as well partly because naughtily it means “had hari” (limited days?) so I guess his expiry day has arrive.

Badawi, the Father of Empty Corridors

Badawi should stop beating around the bush that he’ll not defend his UMNO presidency in March 2009 because he loves the party and wish to put the nation’s interest above all. Accept the fact that he’s no longer welcome not only by the people at large but also by his own comrades within UMNO. Sure, somebody who is “next-in-line” could have plotted the Supreme Council Warlords to kick him out but if he can at least produce a non-blank report-card since he took over the premiership, the attempt would not have been so easy. He tried to imitate his successor in promoting mega project and started the silly “Corridors” initiatives. Of course it didn’t take off handsomely because the scale was simply unbelievable – between RM800 billion to RM1.3 trillion (I was flabbergasted). He’s now shown the “Exit Corridor” instead.

Badawi Father of CorridorsNow that he’s leaving for good (hopefully he won’t flip-flop again) suddenly people realized that they have to deal with a potential new Prime Minister who might be equally weak, not to mention tainted with the murder of Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaaribuu. Looking at the quality of the zombies who threw in their nomination for the UMNO deputy President post, the future of this country looks to be gloomy. Economic aside, the possibility of Mahathir playing the role of a decision-maker behind the curtain in Najib’s administration will bring back the dark-age of the past. Despite Badawi’s last pledge to carry-out the five missions before he pack, nobody believes it could be done within four-months since he didn’t manage to do it in four-years. Have a nice sleep Mr. Flip Flop Sleepy Head!

I dont support Najib, anyway. We couldnt be sure who could manage Malaysia better as our politicians DO NOT put rakyat’s interests above them. Instead, they are fighting for powers so that hundreds who know them could be INSTANT millionaires. Clean my butts, please. Ever wonder WHY most of our MPs are multi-millionaires? And their cronies too? Sick of them.

morning … i just came out from wet-market. I was having my class there, where it happens that many fishmongers and vege-vendors are there. Some selling real cheap chillies!! Arrghhh … i was holding on for almost an hour in the noise of the market, and suddenly i realised it is NOT a wet-tamu. It is my Maths class!! Holding back my ’sadness’, i scolded the class. Sigh. Next week is their Maths exams, but these uneducated kids do not worry much!! I remembered kids of older generations respect their teachers and ’scared’ of failing. They will be very attentive and wanting to learn as much, especially before exams. Well, previously teachers were more dedicated, anyway. I assume i m not. So, basically i m trying to do a JOB, rather than teaching!! Typical lecturers/teachers! Well, i even asked them NOT to come to my classes! That is UN-conventional!! Haha

Sigh … the LAN is coming on Thu, making us all feel very stress too. I need more coffee to relax and watch KLSE bleeding …

Jokes : Married too long

3 women: one engaged, one married and one a mistress, are chatting over lunch and conversation turns to their relationships. They decided that night to surprise their men. All three would wear a black leather bra and thong, stiletto heels and a mask over their eyes.

A few days later they meet up for lunch.

The engaged woman: The other night when my boyfriend came over he found me with a black leather bodice, tall stilettos and a mask. He saw me and said, ‘You are the woman of my dreams. I love you.’ Then we made love all night long.

The mistress: Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I was wearing the leather outfit, heels, mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I opened the raincoat he didn’t say a word, but we had wild sex for hours.

The married woman: I sent the kids to stay at my mother’s house for the night. When my husband came home I was wearing the leather bra, black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes. He walked in the door, looked at me and said,

‘What’s for dinner, Batman?’

Haha … sometimes we need these kinda light jokes to put the smile back in our heart. It is kinda heavy after i raised my voice this morning …

UNGU - Ijinkan Aku

Semua yang ku lihat ada pada dirimu
Seperti yang pernah kurasa
Dari kekasihku yang dulu, yang pernah singgah
Dalam peraduan cintaku

Andai saja bisa terucap dari mulutku
Yang kelu di hadapan dirimu
Mungkin semua takkan begini
Menyudutkanku terdiam kaku di hadapanmu

Ijinkan aku…
Menjadi kekasih hatimu yang baru
Ijinkan aku…
Menyatakan bahwa ku sayang padamu

Berjuta rasa yang telah tercipta
Melukiskan bayang dirimu
Semakin membuatku inginkan kamu
Menjadi kekasihku

Indonesia produced many good artists.

morning … i hv been sitting here, in front of this particular pc since 8am, looking at data/charts and also trading blogs … the BIGGEST issue is the bailed out of AIG. US85billions, mind you.

Found a nice interesting blog : http://sportandstock.blogspot.com/. Unfortunately, he is an MU fans. Haha

Well, MU and Arsenal drew their games this morning. Only Chelsea won convincingly as Liverpool lucky to win their game. Phew.

Well, over in the school front, there are many primary kids ‘wondering’ in the school compounds. Well, some MARKETING is going on(in business terms). STTSS always manage to attract many chinese students(mostly well to do or academically good) from all over sabah.

Lucky boy … err … i mean, man. He is the smallest man, underneath the longest leg woman!! Hmm … as he is a Moggolian, chinese descent, isnt it …errr … pantang to be under-neath a woman?? Not even to walk under women’s underwear!! Hope the woman wearing something inside, but i think it will be difficult to see anything anyway. It is far too deep for him!!

These days we cant IGNORE Malaysian politics. They create new play, new scripts and also bringing new actors/actresses now and then. Branding and marketing here. Yesterday mark another “milestones” (Haha) … Badawi changed port-polio with Najib. It is like … asking my Economic colleague to teach Maths tmr and I shall take over the Economics subject!! No .. we dont need to let the students to know, or why should we consult the school’s admin? Just swop for fun la … afterall, WHAT damage can we do to the country? Oh, i mean students’ results. We could always blame it on the students NOT paying attention while i m teaching … Economics? Haha …

morning …

As exams drawing nearer, some so-called ‘good’ students opting to study by themselves and excused themselves from my class! Well, these students will get an A as Math paper one is like kacang-putih to them. But, they definitely missed out something BIG here … they are here as a student to attend classes! Attendance will be taken. As i m a non-believer of attendance taking, i will allow them to do their own work, provided they REALLY studying and score in their exams!! If EDUCATION is scoring exams, they they DO NOT need to go to school … save money, study last minute also can la! Never do we teachers/schools explain to them the needs of attending lectures regularly. It is a training ground, so to speak.

Wait … am i missing something here? These kids dont care … of coz, due to the pressure of the kiasu-parenting. "Score "A"s at all cost … or else, i send you to my office/factory to work!" warns the parents. Some may prefer giving carrots/gula-gula … study well and daddy buy you that car u like, k? All sorts of NONSENSE from our well-educated society. Sigh … the root of this deterioting trend lies in our EDUCATION system. Am i repeating myself? Malaysians are NOT EDUCATED enough to realise what education mean!!

FREEDOM OF SPEECH

As we were having lunch, me and my colleagues were talking in the hush-hush about FREEDOM of SPEECH(irony, huh?) in Malaysia. Yes, we agreed that certain CONTROL is needed in Malaysia(as we MALAYSIANs are NOT educated, not matured and not civilised). With such a tight control on local MEDIA, we still see our MPs speaking like a standard 6 kids on the street. Yes, in parliment, they act their true colours — un-educated monkeys in suit — and it is an embarassing to READ from non-local media on HOW they see us, Malaysians.

Anyway, back to the case of FREEDOM of SPEECH … the USA preaching about it and was critising Malaysian press. Fair. But, do they really practise what they preached? Here in Malaysia, we are a complex society. We have the minority chinese and indians(minority as we are NOT encouraged to have kids … we are being practical, we cant afford to give our kids QUALITY living if we have too many kids. Logical? Ever wonder why the bumis/malays can afford at least 5 children and can send all of them studying oversea? Fishy GOV? WHAT is that again? NEP? Fair and just? IN MALAYsia?). The QUOTA system being abused. Rampant. They FEEL it is their RIGHTS, they should be given what belongs to them. I M BORN IN MALAYSIA too, but because your ancestors are from CHINA, you are immigrants! Haha.

So, it is kinda sad when we speak about FEW idiot politicians tarnishing our beloved country’s name. Seriously, do you ever wonder WHY they took so loooong to bring that AHMAD to see PM? Wait, even PM, police cant find him!! WOW!! And we are talking about a small soldier here, who is fighting for the justice for Malay? Huh?? I m confused with his statements. He shouldnt even speak anything if he doesnt have anything up there. Being arrogant when we are wrong is plain STUPID. Two type of BODOH … what is this type then?

I love Malay songs, i get along very well with my malay friends, students and culture. I love MALAYsia(and never question if we should change it to CHINESE-sia) as i m NOT a Chinese. I m a Malaysian. Hey, i still need passport/visa to go to China, k? And they will treat me as foreigner(and cut my leher if i m buying anything there … go to GuangZhou and they treat you like an alien!).

Selamat Berpuasa, my fellow Malaysians. If our parents could stay(in tolerance) together, UNITED … our children SHOULD stay together as MALAYSIANs too. Let us as parents provide our future generation a harmonous environment and learn to ACCEPT our differences.

Lets NOT let a few selfish politicians break our bonds. Insya-allah.

morning … the story in SABAH this morning is SURVEY HYPERMART was on fire last night. Some talking about the debate and it seems that Mr BN KOH TK was very intellectual comparing to MR DAP Lim GE. I didnt know any … i was watching the sky, looking for clues which star to BUY this morning or should i wait? I do not see any comet flying around. NO UFO in sight, either. Hmm ….

Thanks Camper for the comments as it surprised me that you do still read this dying/boring blog? Haha. I hv noticed the reduction of no of ‘clickers’. Haha. Good as i hv wanted to keep it personal, tho honestly i dont mind anyone reading my blog. It is BORING, anyway. I used to re-read some of my own posts(as i hv written this blog for my OWN reading, anyway) and could laugh but this blog has been "dead" as KLSE. Haha.

Yesterday was 20 08 2008, my 3rd year being married. I bought a Liverpool t-shirt for Mag. The season started. Haha. Also, tmr my baby Sherlyn will be one month old. Yeah! Given the durian cake(a small slice each) and red eggs to my colleagues.

Feleene’s visit

My sister will be here next week to see my baby girl. Her hubby will be here for business trip and she just tag along. She said she wants to see my baby girl. So sweet and caring of her.

morning … glad that Wong Choon Hann beat Taufik Hidayat of Indonesia. Yeah … straight sets and meeting a Taiwanese next. Every eyes on Chong Wei, but the old hero of ours etal the show. Congrats!!

Assembly this morning in low mood … well, they ‘discovered’ cheating in the recycling campaign. Yes, you heard that right!! Cheatings are so rampant that even in our small scale of re-cycling campaign, some students cheated on the WEIGHTS of the recyclables. They put water into the plastics, wet the papers, mix the steel cans as aluminium cans … etc etc. Sigh … and as student-advisors, we dont really know what is the best cause of actions.

It is because they made the recycling campaign a COMPETITION!! In any competitions, HUMAN will do whatever it takes to WIN. OH, we all adore winners(unless u are ME … a cynical person!!) .. cheers them on, yes you got all A in exams, gold in Olympics … wow … you collected the most girlfriends or slept with most gorgeous guys in town! Ooppsss … i mean, u collected the most recycables. 6% of the sales will go to the winner. That is rather a small token for most of my RICH($$) students … cant even buy their sports pants.

Better watch OLYMPIC … live results online as Chong Wei is playing an underdog from Lithunia.

http://en.beijing2008.cn/ and at http://results.beijing2008.cn/WRM/ENG/RTDS/BD/BDM001408.shtml#BDM001408 <— refresh every 15 seconds!! Wow … cool technology.

Chong Wei won easily 2 - 0. The chinese top pair won easily too.

Ok … will be busy now with my SAM test papers.

And since i hv created my trading blog .. i want to write about my thoughts, that is on TRADING and not recycling! Haha

morning … the hu-ha in thestaffroom … A-level result is out. Many will be anxious to know their results. Well, i m only teaching 10 of them who do Further Maths(but few taking tuition under me … i only know a gal got 3A). 70% passed meaning 3 failed. One boy we do expect him to fail as he doesnt lift a pen during classes for whole year!! Talking about attitude problems!

There is a boy who is doing 5 subjects and scored all A. Very intelligent boy, indeed. A normal A-level students will take 3/4 subjects and we do hv many scoring all A in their subjects.

p/s : Thx Amelia for that gifts. :)

morning … assembly soon.

We missed our Er as we placed him at Mag’s mom place. Well, he is being suspected of having MFH disease. It is contagious, and he is not allowed to go out … certainly should not get near to Sherlyn. So, i hv been travelling there, to see and hug him for a while. He is such a nice boy that he makes no ‘bising’ staying there for a week now.

12.30pm

The ‘recycling’ man is here to give the talk. Well, he is good speaker and make jokes. Yes, i laughed. Haha. As i m drawing into serious mode, it is difficult for me to LAUGH.

Now, how to laugh lightly when i m "burdened" with many things around? I need to get a new tenant SOON for next month(to cover the rental RM250), also till my mom safely home to KL next weekend, many cancellation of my tuition classes, LAN(MQA) is coming to visit(they dont have better thing to do but to enjoy the nice scenery of Sabah — bring them to National Park, man), the KLSE depressing further(10 points yesterday and 20 points this morning!!) tho the crude oil price drops to US122.

How can i laugh when my son ER is having MFH diease and i missed playing with him for a week now? With my baby girl getting her new ’shoe’ this thu, i m nervous. How am i going to laugh … ?? Even one side of my car doors spoilt last week!!

Trying to find reasons to laugh … so, this morning talk is laughable. Glad that i could … errr …. laugh it off?

OK, will laugh by end of this month … as will be having a week off!! Hehe
