noon. Last night was the IS night — it is like the prom-night for our students. As for us lecturers/staff, we just sit(and tried to relax) and enjoy our dinner. I dont know … but i feel the food is not up to the expectation. It was held at Pacific Sutera, the 5-STAR hotel in KK(and the price may not be kind to your pockets!) …
Anyway, the performances by the students were good. Perhaps, i could appricate the hard long hours our students put in and will simply over-look any flaws/faults. Just enjoy the show … arrgghhh, i forgot my ticket for the lucky draw! Not that i m sure to get one of the prizes BUT i still stand a chance to win, if any, right? Hmm …
Time to annouce the best dress lecturers? It was like written on the walls — the ‘couple’ won. My colleague Joanna who teaches Biology won the ‘best’ dress? Hmm … i surely stand to disagree. No … i m not trying to be nasty towards her(she is a very nice polite lady) but i feel some lady colleagues dressed much extravagant! Well, perhaps her partner won the male category(ok … he wore a tie, i dont. So he might look smarter la), they sort of wanting to see a ‘couple’ up on the stage!! Kiss!! Kiss!! Kiss!! The students screamed!! WHAT?? You mean they really want to see their lecturers kissing?? Hahaha
The best dress for the students?? The boy dressed like he is from Arab and the Korean girl wore the ‘traditional’ costume. I dont know HOW the vote/judge for the best dress … again, not that i dressed smartly(i just pull out any shirts, anyway! Haha), BUT again … at least i might stand a slim chance to ‘win’ something? Haha … I m just joking, cant you see?!!
The prom queen is Michelle and the king is Kwong. Hmm … is it base on popularity? Or the look?
