I started to write to-do list again after a lapse of months. Need to review and re-new my new-year resolutions. Yup, want to stay alert and organise. That is what i hv felt for past weeks. Semester break is a good time to do that … why cant we hv a week break every month? Hmm …
New year resolutions: as at 4th JAN 2008
1. To LEARN to teach better in IS(or wherever I m going to ~ wrote to KL for posts and most probably will be short-listed).
2. To LEARN to trading Bursa Malaysia and roll the money ~ with a goal to double it by end of this year.
3. To LEARN to be more patient in everything and everyone.
4. To let go of my attachments to Liverpool, Bowling and Coffee.
5. To WRITE in my blog daily, reflecting on my daily teaching experience, my trading experience and experience being a father.
6. To PLACE more emphasis on my health(exercises, food & sleep) and physically cleaniness.
7. TO PRAY at least once in a day ~ meditate in the morning and pray before I sleep.
8. To REFLECT on this resolution list monthly in order to redefine and refine it.
Well, goto #8, i hv failed to look into the list monthly, but after 4 months into 2008. Is that OK? Hmm … ok la. As long as you are still aware of it. Haha. Let us refine and redefine it now.
1. Still need to LEARN to teach better, especially with SAM students where i sort of neglected them. Also, not to ’scold’ the students. Haha.
2. Have been too busy to look into it daily, but i do still in-touch with the market. Re-read Adam Khoo’s book on investing.
3. Still need to be patient. YAN… YAN … YAN. Haha
4. Attachments : Liverpool, Coffee and Bowling — slowly letting go but not total. Hopefully by end of the year i could live without coffee. No more following Liverpool’s games in EPL or CL.
5. I hv not blog the ‘proper’ way that i should … i lost track of events i wanted to write about. So, i must be focused on what i want to write. Otherwise, i will just leave these pages, for a while.
6. Health … yeah … this is an important point i SHOULD seriously look into. I started to jog — preparing for the 10k run.
7. I do still meditate and pray … but at times, i feel so weak. OK! Will look into this too … Need to feel …
8. Will reflect from time to time.
Liverpool
I watched the starting part of the game … and i was NOT optimistic about their chances of beating Chelsea at the Bridge. Since 1stMay is a holiday(but still got tuition at 8am, mind u), i guess it is OK. Inside, i was hoping they could prove me wrong. Hmm … once Drogba scored the first goal, i sms Kia Kee and Fred Yap(thinking they might watch the game too) … i m going to sleep. Well, KK sms-ed me when Torres scored the equaliser. I was sound asleep. Woke up about 6.30am only to see the news that they lost in extra-time. 3-2. Chelsea going to the CL final for first time and to play MU at MOSCOW. I wont watch that match.
Getting out of the blues … I managed to gear up and off for my class …! It is difficult but i hv warned myself NOT to pin any hope. And remembering NOT to be attached to football, Liverpool particularly.
Bowling
I played 4 games yesterday as a practise at CPS. 193, 192, 162 and 189. NOt bad … thinking whether i should play the PTBAS final this Sunday. 10 games, RM150 … and need to get top5 to cover the game fees. Top 5 with all the top 20 players playing will NOT be easy but i know i could always push myself to be at least in top 10.
End of the month, there is another tournament … thinking if i should squad for it as i m having a week break now. It is 9-10pins. I hv a better chance with the 9-pin tap but need to maintain 190 average for the 10-pins. Hmm …
Library
Next week will be the time for me to relax in the library, reading/browsing through many good books there, for free. I could spend my whole day there, actually …. and into my own world. Hehe. I do want to have a ‘library room’ in my home next time. Cultivating reading habits to my kids. Er do like looking into books and we let him hv the freedom to choose the books he likes. Oh yes, Mag hv to pay RM16 for a book(finding NEMO) Er tore. Still try to understand what makes him tear THAT book but not others? Perhaps random? Hmm …
THE STAR : Plenty of sex but for many, it’s not all the way
PETALING JAYA: Malaysians are having lots of sex but they just do not seem to be enjoying it all that much.
While last year’s Durex Sexual Wellbeing Global Survey said four in five Malaysians were having sex on a weekly basis – this year’s results reveals that only 44% of Malaysians managed to achieve orgasm every time they have sex.
However, Singaporeans fare worse. Only 36% usually manage to feel the earth move, according to the survey’s latest report entitled “The Big O”.
Gender-wise, 62% of Malaysian males almost always reach climax during sex while women get a raw deal – only 25% almost always achieving orgasm.
The survey also found that 86% of Malaysians who frequently had orgasm feel sexually at ease with themselves while 60% of those who regularly came to a climax also enjoyed good psychological health.
Globally, the leaders are the Italians, Spaniards, Mexicans and South Africans who are most likely to climax every time with 66% usually managing to hit the spot.
Least likely to achieve an orgasm are the Chinese and people from Hong Kong (both 24%), followed closely by the Japanese (27%).
Reproductive and sexual health specialist, Dr Mohd Ismail Mohd Tambi, said that while orgasms are not the be all and end all of sex, regularly achieving orgasms improves emotional and overall well-being.
“If you want to have an orgasm, it is important that you surrender yourself to the good feelings you are experiencing. Relaxation is crucial.”
Dr Mohd Ismail said work worries should also be left outside the bedroom as couples needed to have protected and uninterrupted time.
Globally, eight in 10 people who frequently have orgasm felt close to their partner during sex.
The survey was conducted among 26,000 people in 26 countries of which 1,026 were Malaysians.
They were questioned on key aspects of their sex lives such as health, education, beliefs, attitudes to sex and social circumstances.
My Thoughts
Each time star-online with title related to SEX, INCEST, RAPE, SCANDALS … it will be MOST viewed. Wonder why Malaysians are so interested with sex-related issue? Hmm … yes, it is a NO-NO to be discussed openly. Taboo?
Anyway, this is an interesting ‘research’(validity needs to be checked) by Durex. I m not sure if it applies to my sex life at the moment? Hmm …

Yeah I saw that clippings on Star paper today too. It’s on one of the front pages. Everywhere in the world, regardless of it being a sensitive issue or not, anything that’s sex-related sells. Funny right? Shows that we, being human, are indeed animals. LoL.
