Yogurt Making
My gal, Mag wants to buy the yogurt-making machine. She knew that i m sort of "against" any buyings especially items that will only be used(rarely, in fact) occasionally and left to collect dust. But, i surprised her by consenting her to buy anything she deems necessary. I mean, i cant keep saying ‘no’ to my family, right? Yah … i never really stop her from buying anything(except the g3 which costs 200+ and conned by the direct-seller) … i want to see her happy. If buying items could make her happy, why not? WAIT … i know i m contradicting myself here. You see, it is difficult to make them(or anyone, as the matter of fact) to understand that ITEMS WILL NOT make them happy … temporary, may be but will NEVER able to fill the void inside them. These are empty-human with attachments to BUY items.
Hmmm …. you cant fight them, join them! Haha … nope, i will NOT join the craze surrounds me … but i will not stop them chasing their illusions. Let them be la … relax, bro.

I m supposed to hv a SAM class at the moment, i thought. But, i was told(and reminded) that there was a change in the time-table, due to the IT lecturer. I was supposed to take his last week Thu class? Hmm … i m lost of time. Yeah … need to start to use my dairy/notebook and write down things again … i m currently waiting for HOLIDAY. Hehe
My Tenants
One of the boy(the one working at saloon) is moving out … so, his friend(studying in UMS) will be shifting to the smaller room. Currently i m using the room. Well, we need to advertise "room" to let again … that is stressful as we never know what type of person will be living under the same roof with us, especially with my 2 kids.

Despite the increase in the prices of food and commodities all around, I still see wastage everywhere. People leaving half eaten food at KFC, slices of pizza untouched and so on. While half the world is starving and in need of food, here we are wasting valuable resources at the expense of others.
It never fails to amaze me how people can pile up their plates at buffets and leave plates of food uneaten. Is it the ‘kiasu’ syndrome of fearing to lose to others even in gobbling up food? i feel that gluttony always rears its ugly head at any place where food is served abundantly. What happens to the uneaten food? Most probably thrown away. I’ve seen instances of ‘paus’ thrown away even though they are edible and in good condition.
I always wonder what happens to the pastries and buns at bakeries after the day is over. Do they dispose of it? A better solution is to collect all these unsold confectionery and distribute to orphanages and homes. While the poor get to have nice food once in a while, it also prevents wastage and a good deed is done.
Let’s all work to prevent wastage in society. Food should not be taken for granted.
