Morning … today is a special day as it comes only once in every four years! Haha. Mr Lee’s birthday today, bought him BRAND’S. Should hv bought him 4 sets … for the next coming years. Hmmm … anyway, i recovered from my not-so-well situation yesterday.

Sutera League

I was too tired and also not feeling so well. But manage to play(and nap in within) 172, 174 and 186. Not bad for a person who did not touch the ball for 3 weeks and not well. Haha. Rusnan(my opponent and kaki) was joking that he needs to get sick so that he could strike like me! Haha. His game was terrible(of coz he never ask WHY, that explain WHY he could never beat me la). Our team won easily as Fred played very well … 227, 203, 196. Wow … a 200+ average. Another member, Wan is a novice …so, we know we need to cover him. He played 156, 152 and 178. Not so bad la …

Ok … need to check my market, smell fishy. Haha

House

Watched HOUSE on monday but hv no time to blog about the episode. Haha. Hmm … Foreman leaving the team, HOUSE sacked Chase , and Cameron resigned. Hmm … eveeryone is leaving him! And he still didnt show any remorse? Haha … typically HOUSE. Perhaps someone got to know me, sent the idea of such human to USA and great production team came out with idea of Medical(instead of my boring teaching world, dealing with students — patients more options for his characters! Haha) … or is it me seeing ME inside HOUSE as a character? Hehe … love him much(as i love myself much la). LOL

HOUSE, an innovative take on the medical drama, solves mysteries where the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients.

Winner of the 2006 Humanitas Prize for the episode “Three Stories” and a Humanitas nominee in 2007 for “House vs. God,” the series also has received an Emmy Award for creator and executive producer David Shore (Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series), two Golden Globe Awards for Hugh Laurie (Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series) and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Laurie (Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series). Nominated twice (including 2007) for an Emmy in the Outstanding Drama Series category, the show has been honored by the American Film Institute as one of the TV Programs of the Year and received the Peabody Award for Best of Electronic Media in 2005.

DR. GREGORY HOUSE (Hugh Laurie) is devoid of bedside manner and wouldn’t even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. Dealing with his own constant physical pain, he uses a cane that seems to punctuate his acerbic, brutally honest demeanor. While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a brilliant diagnostician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts afford him a great deal of respect. An infectious disease specialist, he thrives on the challenge of solving medical puzzles in order to save lives.

For the past three seasons, House has shepherded an elite team of young experts who helped him unravel diagnostic mysteries. In addition, he has a good friend and confidant in oncology specialist DR. JAMES WILSON (Robert Sean Leonard). There’s some volatile chemistry between House and DR. LISA CUDDY (Lisa Edelstein), the Dean of Medicine and hospital administrator; the two are in constant conflict over House’s duties and unconventional behavior, but even she would admit that his brilliance is worth the trouble.

In the Season Three finale, the set-in-his-ways House was confronted with a series of major changes to his team. Neurologist DR. ERIC FOREMAN (Omar Epps) left Princeton Plainsboro because he didn’t want to turn into House; House randomly fired old-money intensivist DR. ROBERT CHASE (Jesse Spencer), claiming he learned everything he’s going to learn in the past three years, or nothing at all; and immunologist DR. ALLISON CAMERON (Jennifer Morrison) resigned, knowing House will be completely unaffected by her decision.

As Season Four opens, House is without a team to contribute to the perplexing medical cases he undertakes, and Cuddy and Wilson are adamant that he recruit new fellowship candidates. After 40 applicants applied for the newly vacated spots on his team, a group of five doctors — played by Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, Peter Jacobson, Anne Dudek and Edi Gathegi — have emerged as finalists vying for the coveted and hotly contested openings.

HOUSE is from Heel and Toe Films, Shore Z Productions and Bad Hat Harry Productions in association with Universal Media Studios. Katie Jacobs, David Shore, Paul Attanasio, Bryan Singer, Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner and Thomas L. Moran are executive producers.

Grasshopper … one of my fav group when i was young! Miss them, man.

怎麼天生不是女人 <— many fav songs from them, this is one cool song. I can still sing the whole song after all these years of missing them. WOW. Haha

Zakiah Hassan

Just saw Zakiah in IS. Hehe .. 2 weeks ago, while teaching her daughter Add Maths(more of favour as a good friend, ex-colleague of INTI SABAH) … she mentioned about intention of moving away from INTI(due to workloads and pressure from Mr Wong). UiTM offering her good package and she is comtemplating of going there. So, i was thinking of IS … we are only having part-time econs teacher(cecilia — was full-time till this year she wanted to help her hubby in his business). Besides, Zakiah could teach Malaysian Studies too(with Benjamin Basital resigned and joined politic!). Just the right timing to get her in here, i could hv one more good friend(with BRAIN — many in IS are square, narrow-minded and robotic! Haha. I hv one colleague who speak about everything but know or do NOTHING. haha). It will benefit the school, she is a MALAY with a Master. If we are ever going to move forward to be a UNIVERSITY college status, it is a criteria to hv certain percentage of bumis and also master/phDs. Dont ask WHY … these are so-called "sensitive" in Malaysia’s politics. Hope she will take up the offer la …

READ the NEW MALAY DILEMMA by Dr M i posted recently. These are only for people WITH BRAIN and PASSION for living as a MALAYSIAN, being proud of being MALAYSIAN! I certainly proud to be born here. Tho MALAYSIA TIDAK BOLEH in many manners(example — maturity and educated), i will still work to serve my country-men. Teaching my students is one of the way i could feel i m doing that. Hmm … will hv to leave teaching Maths in 5 yrs time … too bad. I always on the move …

Trading

This is to Ah Wai, my cousin … my AUNT SK’s only son. KNM was traded around 8.00 end of dec/begin of jan(due to some good news etc etc … please DEDICATEDLY READ more biznews like me, boy).  It dropped below 7.00, one of my friend(as always those so-called investors who want quick money) and told me it WONT drop further and bought at 6.95. He like SWEARING it wont go below .. i kept quiet(wondering why is he telling me these for and asking my opinion when he obviously made up his mind). WAI … today it is traded at 5.95 and he lost RM1 for each lot. I did not asked how much he bought, but i m sure he will go ALL OUT, afterall he is DAMN SURE that 6.95 WAS the lowest! Today he still hold … 5.95 la. Hmm … what can i say, i dont wish to speculate as i m TOO NEW in trading but USE BRAIN, look longer term, then INVESTING in share market is NOT scary la.

HOW low will KNM go? How am i going to know? Haha … it is GLC, for election sake. It is always RISKY to buy popular stocks controlled by gov-politically-linked companies. Ride the tide, man.

Daily, Trading, Inst. Sinaran, Songs, ChineseFebruary 28, 2008 10:06 am

Morning … i m like a zombie having PMS again this morning … haha. I slept about 11.30pm, but woke up about 2am(watching Discovery about Massacre of Nepalese Royal family in 2001) … then, listening to Alan Tam’s playlist. I think i managed to sleep around 4am or so … only to wake up blurry around 6.30am. I dont jump up the bed as i normally will do. Instead, i was wondering if i could steal a few more minutes to continue my sleep … i m sleepy. I was a tiring whole day yesterday with tuition from 4.30-6.30pm and 7.30-9.30pm. My cough is back … i m taking the coughing syrup, which will make me sleepier … wish i could roll back to my bed in Melinsung, continuing dreaming … hehe … i missed my nice smell of my pillow(which Mag was complaining how yucky it is!). Hmm …

Normal Distribution

Are leaders NORMAL? I shared with my students this normal graph! Leaders/successful people are NORMAL people with same 24 hours, eating food like normal people do! BUT, HOW they see things, WHAT they do and WHY they can accomplish many things are … NOT NORMAL. How can u acheive GOOD/SUCCESSFUL deeds by doing what normal people do? I was asked many of times … how do i feel being awarded the best lecturer award? Or how do i acheive the state? I will casually answer … DO NOT BE NORMAL TEACHERS! Normal teacher do not understand EDUCATION, do not LOVE what they are doing … and most of them do not even love themselves!! How are they going to be good/success/outstanding teachers IF they are doing the NORMAL ways of teaching??! TO the extent, i will just answered — DO NOT DO WHAT OTHERS TEACHERS DOING! Haha. They thought i was joking, u know. But when i discussed with many educationists, all of us have one common thing — STRONG PASSION in our belief of EDUCATION. That is what making us apart from NORMAL teachers … i m taking it the extreme manner. I dont even believe in getting masters/phD. I m not going to give in to the stupidity of the education system that we are in. If u aware of many issues, then u MIGHT be able to understand WHY education system is NOT working as it supposed to be. Theoritical vs Practicality.

To be good father, i just have to do what NORMAL fathers did not do. And do what i FEEL happy doing! To heck with society, they are stupid anyway?! Haha.

If Mahathir has been a NORMAL leader, Malaysia WILL NOT be where it is TODAY. Thanks, Dr M. My highest respect still with you.

Trading

Jaks 1.01, Ranhill 1.69 and Liondiv 1.50 — losing money la. LOL

My colleague who always ‘consulted’ me about KLSE asking if it is a good advice to BUY MRCB … price at the low 1.97 at the moment. So, i asked her two simple questions

1. How do you know it will NOT go further down eventho its value is so-called ‘good’? I never aim MRCB for reasons that it is POPULAR counters, overly bought and politically linked counter. Fine, it may hv strong supports … but HOW are we know it is a good-buy? Its PE value is so high! That is NOT for longer term investor, in my view.

2. Where are you going to get more funds, just curious as you hv placed all in 5 of your stocks? She replied that she will sell off ASTRO she bought for 3.40. It went up 4.20 at a moment but currently dropping back to 3.66? But i thought you told me that you will hold ASTRO for two years — a longer term investment? Well, profit taking should be taken one month earlier. Now, market is slow as everyone is cautious. The election sentiment is around … are we all?

Well, it is up to you … that is just my questions. You hv answered them … i couldnt say much la, right?

MRCB … hmmm …

My Thoughts, Politics 7:45 am

  The New Malay Dilemma
     By former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on
     Malays remaining behind others despite privileges.

     The Malays are among the few people whose race is legally defined. Thus, the Malaysian Constitution states that a Malay is one who habitually speaks Malay, professes the religion of Islam and practises Malay customs. There is nothing said about the definitive culture of the Malays. It follows that changes in culture do not make a Malay person a non-Malay.

     Culture is made up largely of the value systems accepted, even if not actually practiced by a people or a race. Observations have shown that the culture of a people determines whether they are successful or they fail…

     Europeans, Asians, Africans and American Indians can all be successful and can
 all fail. It is, therefore, not the race or ethnicity which determines success. It
 is the culture.

     When I wrote The Malay Dilemma in the late 60s, I had assumed that all the Malays lacked the opportunities to develop and become successful. They lacked opportunities for educating themselves, opportunities to earn enough to go into business, opportunities to train in the required vocation, opportunities to obtain the necessary funding, licenses and premises. If these opportunities could be made available to them, then they would succeed…

     But today, the attitude has changed. Getting scholarships and places in the universities at home and abroad is considered a matter of right and is not valued any more. Indeed, those who get these educational opportunities for some unknown reason seem to dislike the very people who created these opportunities. Worse still, they don’t seem to appreciate the opportunities that they get.

     They become more interested in other things, politics in particular, to the detriment of their studies. In business, the vast majority regarded the opportunities given them as something to be exploited for the quickest return…

     They learn nothing about business and become even less capable at doing business and earning an income from their activities. They become mere sleeping partners and at times not even that. Having sold, they no longer have anything to do with the business. They would go to the government for more licences, permits, shares, etc…

     Why has this thing happened? The answer lies in the culture of the Malays. They are laid-back and prone to take the easy way out. And the easy way out is to sell off whatever they get and ask for more. This is their culture.

     Working hard, taking risks and being patient is not a part of their culture. It should be remembered that in the past the Malays were not prepared to take up the jobs created by the colonial powers in their effort to exploit the country. Because the Malays were not prepared to work in rubber estates and the mines, the Indians and Chinese were brought in. At one time, the migrants outnumbered the Malays. Had they continued to outnumber the Malays, independent Malaya would be like independent Singapore.

     But the Malays have apparently learnt nothing from the near loss of their country in the past. Today, they are still unwilling to work and foreign workers are again flooding the country. And because they are not equipping themselves with the necessary education and skills, they have continued to depend on others.

     Their political dominance will protect them for a time. But that dominance is fading very fast as they quarrel among themselves and breaks up into small ineffective groups. Their numerical superiority means less today than at the time of independence…

     The Malays, together with the other Bumiputeras, make up 60 per cent of the country’s population. But in terms of their political clout, it is now much less than 60 per cent. They are now more dependent on non-Malay support, both the government party and the opposition.

     Economically, of course, they have less than half the 30-per-cent share that has been allocated to them. If we discount the non-Malay contribution to the nation’s economy, Malaysia would be not much better than some of the African developing countries.

     To succeed, the Malays must change their culture. They must look towards work as a reward in itself. They must regard what they achieve through work as the true reward. There should be some financial reward but this must not outweigh the satisfaction obtained from the result of their work…

     Changing culture is far more difficult than changing the policies of government. It is easy enough to propose affirmative action but it is not easy to implement it. The recipients must have the right attitude if the results are going to be obtained…

     Unfortunately, their view is that their crutches are symbols of their superior status in the country. The sad thing is that they are not even using the crutches properly. As a result, they gain nothing or very little from the availability of these aids…

     So what is the new Malay dilemma? Their old dilemma was whether they should distort the picture a little in order to help themselves.

     The new dilemma is whether they should or should not do away with the crutches that they have got used to, which in fact they have become proud of. There is a minority of Malays who are confident enough to think of doing away with the crutches, albeit gradually. But they are a very small minority. Their numbers are not going to increase any time soon. They are generally regarded as traitors to the Malay race…

     There will be a host of protests over this generalisation about Malay attitudes. We read almost every day about blind Malay people and other handicapped Malays graduating with university degrees or driving cars or doing all kinds of work.

     This does not prove that the generalisation that I make is wrong. These are exceptions. They only prove that if the right attitude or culture is adopted, even the handicapped can succeed.

     The dilemma faced by those few who want to build a strong, resilient and independent Malay race without crutches is that they are most likely to end up becoming unpopular and losing the ability to influence the changes in the culture and the value system which are necessary. It seems that they should not try and yet they know that without the cultural changes, the Malays are going to fail.

morning … i noticed that one of my socks got hole on it. Need to hide it from Mag, otherwise she will change a new one for me. Hmm … not that i dont wish to use the new ones, but SOCKS being wore inside, no one can see, right? Like your undies … got a hole or so, still can wear, right? She meant good … but perhaps i simply “too much”. Anyway, will hide it from her … till she found out la. I dont wear any “branded” socks … if i see those rm10 for 3, i will happily grab a pack or two. Last whole year, man. Haha. So stingy? Hmm … maybe … just dont believe in paying good money for FASHION(comfortable, yes). Just 15yrs ago, i do pay rm20 for a socks! Camel … from my jacket, shirt, pants, socks … even underwear — i was like a CAMEL promoter. A stupid monkey, unpaid (but instead paying much! Haha … ). RM20 for a pair of socks … RM200 for a Camel boots? Hmm … ouch, i still hv the boot under my bed. Haha.

Today i could afford such but i m doing just the opposite. Perhaps i m wiser … more aware of going-ons in the world. If i could buy a rm200+ shoe, how about buy rm30 shoe and DONATE the balance away for those who do not even have a shoe? Or those without a foot? The awareness in me for past 15yrs hv pushed me to become who i m now — and that is all because I WANTED to make a change in my surrounding. Heck with those normal-monkeys … or donkeys. Unless they are my family members(cant change that, right?), i do not want to get in-touch with ANY monkeys-donkeys people, please … too many such jerks who suck shit. Haha.

Yawn ….

Politic — general election

DAP will NOT win any seat in Sabah as they are NOT strong. But, if Dr Hiew(the DAP Sabah chairman) hv contacted me to help, i would have. Tho i m very busy with my classes (and many other personal things — blog?), i will still help for a good cause. I knew him personally now … but i wont intervene. Am i going into politic? One day? Hmm … nope. Prefer NGOs anytime.

This time i wont be voting as i m registered in SEPUTEH. Will change my address next round to vote in wherever i m(in 5 yrs time, i m not sure where i will be?).

But for those youngsters who are going to be voters someday … your votes are important. GOV using the media to cover many things and they know most of Malaysians without much thoughts, so … it is easily influence/manipulate their views. Perhaps you wish to see how many MPs(member of parliment) SHOWING their faces for the RARE time recently and wonder … where hv they been for past 5 yrs? Haha … Malaysians are too naive when it comes to politics. Malaysians are naive in MANY issues … some are still more interested with their models of thier hand-phones/cars! haha. That is how LOW their mentality could be … thanks GOV for pressing our young minds. They are studying MORAL EDUCATION and many got the A. But, sad to let you know, my dear GOV, my students do not have much MORAL and they are NOT EDUCATED. Time for a change? Sound familiar during election? Hmm … fikir-fikir kan la …

JOKES

Name That Animal, Kid

Eddie’s first-grade class was having a game of Name
That Animal. The teacher held up a picture of a cat
and asked, “What animal is this?”
“A cat!” said Suzy.

“Good job! Now, what’s this animal?”

“A dog!” said Ricky.

“Good! Now what animal is this?” she asked, holding up
a picture of a deer.

The class fell silent. After a couple of minutes, the
teacher said, “It’s what your mom calls your dad.”

“A horny bastard!” called out Eddie.

Tough Love

A dying man smells his favorite oatmeal raisin cookies
cooking downstairs. It takes all the strength he has
left but he gets up from the bed and crawls down the
stairs. He sees the cookies cooling on the counter and
staggers over to them. As he reaches for one, his
wife’s wrinkled hand reaches out, smacks his and she
yells:
“No, you can’t have those! They’re for the funeral!”

Haha … thanks Valene for the jokes. Haha. And … err … sorry that i could not find the time to meet you when i was in KL la.

2PM

Got SA meeting at 3pm, then CEO called for urgent meeting at 4pm — we all are just informed and MANY very unhappy with that ‘last-minute” info. I got tuition at 4pm too, but hv to delay the class later on. Hmm … i m very flexible as i hv learned to be ONE.

I told my Intensive students(Friday will be last class with them — they hv been very quiet in my class for past weeks! Too quiet for my comfort! Haha) that to do ANYTHING very well or excellent — DO NOT DO WHAT NORMAL people do! Logic? NORMAL students come in classes 1-10 minutes late, you come earlier by 5 minutes! WOW! That is NOT normal! Haha … the fact is that IF U DO THINGS NORMAL monkeys-donkeys DO, you naturally becoming one of them! THAT IS A LAW OF LIFE. How can you expect different results by doing what others doing/did? STUPID, right? NO … then, i woke wake u up la. Haha.

Actually I hv been telling many about this NORMALITY concept but it is too deep for many. Cant blame them, they grow up in monkey’s family, doing what their mind-less parents doing … and NEVER really stand up to QUESTION! If you ask a question, the ADULTS will shut you up immediately(inferiority complex, in psychological terms). Who are to blame IF your kids do not talk to you?! YOur stupid adults brain will start to rationalise to PROTECT your face. Haha … i could continue to expose many PARENTS and ADULTS shits hey are covering, they will get VERY angry with me. Ooppsss … i might be sued for de-faming their status as … ADULTS? Haha. Wait, i did not even mention NAMES, why are they getting agitated? Hmm .. “siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas la …” (translated : who eat chilly, he taste hot! haha)

[Elephant Man]
It’s summertime
Ladies looking hot
Shaking up what they’ve got
Elephant Man and Kat, c’mon< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
[Verse 1]
Senses telling me you’re looking
I can feel it on my skin (Whoa)
Boy I wonder what would happen
If I trip and let you in
Don’t get shook by my aggression
I just might be the one
Let’s skip this conversation
Just whine your body up

Don’t wanna wait no more
(Ha Ha Ha)
You got what I’m searching for
[Pre Hook]
Cause I’m feeling your vibing
I’m riding high is exotic
And I want you, I want you here
Pull me closer and closer and
Hold me tight to your body
I wanna feel you, I wanna feel you near
[Chorus:]
Whine up, whine up, whine up, oye!
Whine up, whine up, whine up, oye!
Whine up, whine up, whine up, oye!
Whine up, whine up, whine up, oye!

Winding up your body you don’t have to stop

Whine up, whine up, whine up, oye!

Whine up, whine up, whine up, oye!
Whine up, whine up, whine up, oye!

They Didn’t Truly Run With a Train to Tibet; Xinhua Agency Recants

By JANE SPENCER and JULIET YE
February 22, 2008;

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB120363429707884255.html?mod=yhoofront

HONG KONG — It turns out that train tracks in Tibet aren’t where the antelope play.
Earlier this week, Xinhua, China’s state-run news agency, issued an unusual public apology for publishing a doctored photograph of Tibetan wildlife frolicking near a high-speed train.
The deception — uncovered by Chinese Internet users who sniffed out a Photoshop scam in the award-winning picture — has brought on a big debate about media ethics, China’s troubled relationship with Tibet, and how pregnant antelope react to noise.

The antelope imbroglio began in the summer of 2006. The Chinese government was celebrating its latest engineering feat, and an enthusiastic wildlife photographer from the Daqing Evening News was camped out on the Tibetan plateau eating energy bars and waiting for antelope to pass.

On July 1, 2006, in an event scheduled to coincide with the Communist Party’s 85th birthday, Chinese President Hu Jintao hosted the launch of China’s train to the "roof of the world." The $4 billion Qinghai-Xizang railway — a remarkable system that transports passengers to an altitude (16,000 feet) so high that ballpoint pens can explode en route from the air-pressure change — traverses 1,200 miles of rugged terrain to connect the rest of China to the remote Tibetan plateau.
The train, which soon brought many visitors to the pristine homeland of Tibetan Buddhists, became a flash point for China’s long simmering tensions with Tibet. During construction, it drew fierce protests from environmentalists who said it would threaten the breeding grounds of the chiru, an endangered antelope species found mainly in China.
When the train service began, a remarkable photograph appeared in hundreds of newspapers, and it eased environmental concerns. The picture, captioned "Qinghai-Tibet railway opens green passage for wildlife," featured dozens of antelope galloping peacefully across the Tibetan landscape, unfazed as the gleaming silver train raced beside them.
The photo was the work of Liu Weiqing, a 41-year-old photographer who had been camped with his Jeep on the Tibetan plateau since March, as part of a highly publicized series by the Daqing Evening News, a regional newspaper, to raise awareness of the rare Tibetan antelope. Mr. Liu was also under contract with Xinhua to provide photos for China’s largest government-run news service.
"One man, one car, one year…and a campaign to protect Tibetan antelope," he wrote on his blog describing the project.
Once nearly wiped out by poachers who made shawls from its wool, the chiru’s numbers have increased in recent years, and the knobby-kneed bovid has emerged as a symbol of China’s environmental-protection efforts. Yingying the Tibetan Antelope is one of the five official mascots of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Some antelope lovers knew from the start that something was wrong with Mr. Liu’s photo. "I was really shocked when I first saw the photo," says Yang Xin, of the antelope protection group Green River. For starters, he says, many of the antelope in the picture appeared to be pregnant and there were no young with the herd. That was a tip-off because many antelope would have given birth before late June when the photo was supposedly taken.
In late 2006, Mr. Liu’s picture was declared a top 10 "photo of the year" by CCTV, China’s state-run television network. Mr. Liu appeared in fatigues on national TV and described waiting in a pit for eight days for the antelope to pass at precisely the same moment as the train.
"I wanted to capture the harmony among the Tibetan antelope, the train, men and nature," he told the audience, standing on stage in front of a big projection of the photo.
Media critics say the photo’s deeper message was hard to miss. "It’s such a perfect propaganda photo," says David Bandurski a researcher at the University of Hong Kong China Media Project. "They don’t tend to give journalism prizes to reports that rock the boat."
Other photographs that took home awards that night included "Facing a harmonious future," a picture of Chinese President Hu posing with world leaders, and a "A trip to apologize," a picture of a Japanese monk apologizing to China for Japanese atrocities in World War II. CCTV didn’t reply to inquiries about its criteria for photo awards.
Suspicions about the photo became public last week after Mr. Liu’s photograph was displayed in Beijing’s subway system. An anonymous Chinese Internet user going by the screen name Dajiala raised questions about the photo’s authenticity on one of China’s largest photography Web sites. Dajiala, a photographer who claimed to idolize Mr. Liu, said he was studying a copy of the photo posted on Beijing’s Line 5 subway platform when he rubbed some dust off it and noticed something odd.
"At the bottom of the photograph, there was a very obvious line," he wrote. "I examined it very carefully and it was obviously the stitching of two different images….Was this decisive moment just a simple Photoshop trick?"
His post created an online storm. Photographers blew up the image and analyzed each out-of-place pixel. Animal behaviorists weighed in, explaining that antelope are shy and noise-sensitive, and would scatter in panic at the sound of the high-speed train. When the chat-room controversy spread to China’s largest Internet portals, the Chengdu Business Daily confronted Mr. Liu.
Cornered by the mounting evidence, Mr. Liu admitted he had indeed used Photoshop to blend two pictures, according to the newspaper.
Mr. Liu resigned from the Daqing Evening News and posted a statement on his blog. "I have no reason to continue my sacred career as a newsman," he wrote. "I am not qualified for the job." His editor then resigned, too, and the newspaper posted an apology on its Web site. The newspaper didn’t respond to repeated calls to its office. Mr. Liu didn’t answer calls to his cellphone.
Some of China’s Internet users expressed outrage that a photo easy to spot as fake had been widely circulated by major organizations. "We need an apology! This is very important for journalistic photography in China," wrote one Internet user on a photography site.
It isn’t clear what was behind Mr. Liu’s deception. Some suspected he was the victim of his own ambition, and doctored the photo knowing that its patriotic message would appeal to China’s news agencies. "Liu knows how to please his master," wrote one anonymous poster on the Internet.
His friends say he was dedicated to his job and determined to raise the profile of the embattled antelope. "He was a good guy," says Zhou Zhuogang, an environmental activist from Shenzhen in southern China who met Mr. Liu in the summer of 2006 when the two men were at a volunteer station on the Tibetan plateau. "He loved photography, and he loved the antelope. I don’t know what pushed him to do this."
Some suspect pressure to create the photo came from above. "When everybody points a finger to the photographer, we actually missed the real core problem here," says Wang Yangbo, editor of Wen Wei Pao, a Hong Kong Daily. The photographers "are nobodies in the scheme of things here," she adds.
Earlier this week, CCTV posted a statement on its Web site saying it was revoking Mr. Liu’s award. On Monday, Xinhua, China’s largest news organization, and several other government news organizations published an apology for circulating the photo. The companies said they would delete all of Mr. Liu’s images from their databases.
"We call on the public to work together with us to uphold the authenticity principle of news reporting," the statement said. Xinhua didn’t respond to requests for comment.

My Thoughts:

Haha … Kiasu-ism in highest degree … CHINA is embarassing CHINESE all over the world for their NON-trustworthy characters. Even in doing business, they have been CROOKS — really a sad situation to know a few IRRESPONSIBLE tarnishing millions/billions of Chinese. You should read about the FEAR by the international OLYMPIC body when the OLYMPIC will be held in China this year. The biasness(look no further … watch the badminton games how the lines-men practising double-standards!) will be ANOTHER embarassing issues CHINESE have to face … no thanks to the MENTALITY of WINNING AT ALL COST.
Haha … the laugh is louder. Look at the chinese students in STTSS(the so-called best school in Sabah!) … the MENTALITY is so poor that not many CARES anymore about VALUES. BEST SCHOOL as of exams results, of the many monkeys-parents driving BIG cars. Haha. I m ashame to say … err … i m a chinese too? NOPE, i m a MALAYSIAN! Hmm … that will give the Americans discriminating us as ISLAM country — so we terrorising the world! WOW. I m so impressed with my community, and society as a whole. MODERNISATION at all cost! Good, man …
perhaps i could hv a ride on the antelopes, rather than the bullet train! Haha.

Scratch combination put Malaysia in the Uber Cup Finals

PETALING JAYA: One is a Commonwealth Games champion while the other is a world junior champion. Yesterday, the senior-junior scratch combination of Lim Pek Siah and Ng Hui Lin brought joy for Malaysia.

Pek Siah and Hui Lin, who are playing as a pair for the first time, nailed the winning point in Malaysia’s stunning 3-1 win over Singapore in the quarter-finals of the Uber Cup qualifying tournament at Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.

With their win yesterday, Malaysia are virtually assured of a place in the Finals which will be held in Jakarta from May 11-19.

Today, Malaysia will take on Japan in the semi-finals.

Even if they lose, Malaysia should make it to the Finals by virtue of being ranked higher than Scotland, the fourth-ranked European team.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) had made a ruling that the fourth-ranked Asian and European teams in the qualifiers would be decided on their overall world standings.

Yesterday, though, Malaysia got off to a jittery start.

The hope was on Wong Mew Choo but the China Open champion went down fighting 20-22, 19-21 to China-born Xing Aiying.

The defeat, however, did not dampen the spirit of the Malaysian camp as Chin Eei Hui-Wong Pei Tty put Malaysia back in the fight with a 21-16, 21-17 win over Jiang Yanmei-Li Yujia.

Julia Wong lived up to expectations by putting Malaysia 2-1 up after a superb 21-10, 21-12 win over Fu Mingtian.

Malaysia pulled off a surprise by fielding Pek Siah of the KLRC Bhd and Hui Lin, who won the world junior mixed doubles with Lim Khim Wah and the duo did not disappoint when they clinched the winning point with a sensational 21-17, 21-15 win over Yao Lei-Sari Shinta Mulia.

Julia was ecstatic with the women’s achievement. It is only the second time that the women had qualified for the Finals on merit.

“I was a reserve when Malaysia first qualified for the Finals on merit (in 2004). But today, I contributed one point in Malaysia’s success. It feels great,” said Julia in a telephone interview from Ho Chi Minh City.

MY Thoughts:

Look at Singapore … haha, no love for country as more and more imports(from CHINA in their UBER CUP) playing games/sports for their country. DO WE MALAYSIANS ADMIRE SPOREANS, the KIASU? Haha … so sick, man. Winning becoming almost EVERYTHING to them that their poor country-man would never hv the chance to represent theri OWN country anymore! A disgrace of development in our ill-informed society.

Will elaborate … tata

morning … spoken to Leong about the coming first SC meeting. Very important to lead them right the very first time.

Andy : Hai ya … you think i m always upset meh? Haha. I acted well, am i? Hehe … fyi, it is VERY difficult to upset me unless you are CLOSE in my heart. Very few in my heart … i m a selfish person who WONT take in any-donkeys-monkeys into my life! Haha. Dont worry about me … let me continue to be upset? Haha. What? Me upset? LOL. Told everyone before … i m NOT your NORMAL humanoids la. emoticon

Someone HAVE TO do something different in order to get things done. Let everyone enjoy, the educationist in me work.

Played this song this morning … and was dancing with my son! LOL

"Like A Boy" by Ciara <— cool SIMS

[Verse: 1]
Pull up your pants
(Just Like Em’)
Take out the trash
(Just Like Em’)
getting ya cash like em’
Fast like em’
Girl you outta act like ya dig
(What I’m talkin’ bout’)
Security codes on everything
Vibrate so your phone don’t ever ring
(Joint Account)
And another one he don’t know about

[Hook]
Wish we could switch up the roles
And I could be that…
Tell you I love you
But when you call I never get back
Would you ask them questions like me?…
Like where you be at?
Cause I’m out 4 in the morning
On the corner rolling
Doing my own thing
Oh

[Chorus]
What if I?…
Had a thing on the side?
Made ya cry?
Would the rules change up?…
Or would they still apply?…
If I played you like a toy?…
Sometimes I wish I could act like a boy

[Guy Chopped & Screwed Voice]
Can’t be getting mad!
What You Mad?
Can’t Handle that!
Can’t be getting mad!
What you mad?
Can’t handle that!

[Verse: 2]
Girl go head and be…
(Just Like Em’)
Go run the streets
(Just Like Em’)
come home late say sleep like em’
Creep like em’
Front with ya friends
Act hard when you’re with em’ like em’
(What)
Keep a straight face when ya tell a lie
Always keep an air-tight alibi
(Keep Him In The Dark)
What he don’t know won’t break his heart

[Hook]
Wish we could switch up the roles
And I could be that…
Tell you I love you
But when you call I never get back
Would you ask them questions like me?…
Like where you be at?
Cause I’m out 4 in the morning
On the corner rolling
Doing my own thing
Yea

[Chorus]
What if I?…
Had a thing on the side?
Made ya cry?
Would the rules change up?…
Or would they still apply?…
If I played you like a toy?…
Sometimes I wish I could act like a boy

[Guy Chopped & Screwed Voice]
Can’t be getting mad!
What You Mad?
Can’t Handle that!
Can’t be getting mad!
What you mad?
Can’t handle that!
Can’t be getting mad!
What you mad?
Can’t handle that!
Can’t be getting mad!
What you mad?
Can’t handle that!

[Bridge]
If I was always gone
With the sun getting home
(Would Ya Like That?)
Told you I was with my crew
When I knew it wasn’t true
(Would Ya Like That?)
If I act like you
Walk A mile off in yo shoes
(Would Ya Like That?)
I’m messing with your head again
Dose of your own medicine

[Chorus]
What if I?…
Had a thing on the side?
Made ya cry?
Would the rules change up?…
Or would they still apply?…
If I played you like a toy?…
Sometimes I wish I could act like a boy

[Guy Chopped & Screwed Voice]
Can’t be getting mad!
What You Mad?
Can’t Handle that!
Can’t be getting mad!
What you mad?
Can’t handle that!
Can’t be getting mad!
What you mad?
Can’t handle that!
Can’t be getting mad!
What you mad?
Can’t handle that!

[Music Plays]

[Outro]
If I played you…
Would yo like that?
Had friends…
Would you like that?
never call?
Would you like that?
Hell naw
You wouldn’t like that
No!

[Half-Chorus]
What if I made ya cry!
Would they still apply!
What if I…
If I played you like a toy
Sometimes I wish I could act like a boy!

[Music ’til song fades out]

Student Councillors

10 students with qualities to be polished. 7 girls and 3 boys. I do not discriminate if they r boys/girls, if sc/arts, if u r rich/not … i dont care if u r white/black … or your body stinks(get a bath, plz haha). I just want them to learn … besides those knowledge from books, there are much more to learn about living itself. 80% of PARENTS/ADULTS failed to recognise the art of LIVING HAPPILY and to the FULLEST. Can we get 8 of the 10 SC there to learn values? Hmm … we shall see how i squeeze their brains! Wait … i m not upset, am i? Haha.

Trading

No more BULL, man … election is here, BEAR is coming … run, chicken … run ….!!

Ranhill 1.76, Jaks 1.13 and Liondiv 1.41 — losing thousands of dollars. Perhaps that is enough reason for me to be upset? haha.

12.20pm

Yup … first SC meeting — need to place the R & R strictly to the councillors as NO ONE is above the rules. I will be the watch dog of their discipline. Hmm … told you i will HAVE to show my upset side again. LOL.

Good weekend ahead la …

noon … i m OFFICIALLY on M.C … meaning to say, i m legally allowed to stay home and rest. But, i m here … i taught the large classes such as yr 1(150 of them) and yr2(80 of them). Then, i went back to rest … skipping the FM2(only 10 of them). Emily helping me to teach the Intensive now … tho i m back to teach! Of coz Mag advised me to stay at home to reeeeessstttt … resting too long without doing anything will make me restless! Haha.

Later i hv the important election of the Rotaract Club committee. So, i hv stay back till 5/5pm again. Three days in a row!.

Sickness

As i put our lives into 4 main parts — PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, MENTAL and SPIRITUAL … we can be sick in ANY part of it and our lives could not really function to the optimum.

We take necessary food for our body … do some exercise or meditation. We rest/sleep … some take supplements. Then, we HOPE we will be physically fit/healthy to carry out our daily tasks. For some of my students, playing pc/network games is the ONLY thing in life currently — even that you need to be alert to play well!

Emotional sickness is everywhere … in almost everyone of us. It is matter of extent. If we learn to GROW and MATURE, we will be less emotionally sick. DO NOT WATCH DRAMAS, i told my students. I told many … but they wont listen, they are monkeys looking for entertainment? The DRAMA … suicidal, divorce, mitress, back-stabbing, slapping, gun-firing, killing/murdering, spitting, sex or sexual arousal, crying … etc etc … too many points about DRAMA that will indirectly poisioning out EMOTIONS, whether you are aware of it or not. Unless u could filter … learn to filter or DO NOT watch la.

morning … a little blur as i didnt sleep well. Woke up at 3am, read some trading books while TV watching me. Arsenal vs AC Milan game started i went back to bed only to be awaken around 5am. MU was 1-0 down, vs Lyon … 0-0 for the gunners’ game. It ended 0-0 with last minute Adebayor struck the post(i thought sure goal!). Tevez managed to equalized(cross by Nani .. both brought in simultaneously).

So, Liverpool won 2-0, MU 1-1(away) and Chelsea 0-0(away) having greater chances than Arsenal. They will be playing away in fortnight.

i cant type well … resting …

Jaks 1.15, Ranhill 1.80, Liondiv 1.39 … i m losing rm4500, man. Hmm …

2pm

After my 8-9 and 9-10 classes, i decided to REST … i was feeling chilling cold and i know i m going to hv fever soon. Since i could understand my body well, i know i need a good REST. Therefore, i cancelled 2 classes … informed relevant people, and back home … took a panadol and NAP. I was sweating all over with slight pain on the joints. Those are symptoms of fever. After the nap, i feel better and so i want to be back to school. We are having an election for Vice President and Vice Secretary later.

I just vomitted half an hour ago … back here typing. Yup, this is PHYSICAL illness, but the MIND could help a lot with positive thoughts. Hehe. I still hv a tuition class to teach tonight. See if i could recover …

Leadership Camp … where the candidates, SC and EB busy with given tasks …

The two books Leong borrowed me but i do not really use it. It was 2 days to the camp and i hv NOT prepare the slides. All ideas came naturally to me … just need to re-collect them in orders. Wanna join my workshop again? Hehe … surely will share more with my Rotaract Club committees. Election is tmr.

Cultural Show fromTaiwan

last night was not a typical normal night for me … i was excited, over-joyed in a way … as i will be having dinner with my wife and watch a show! Hehe. Dinner was nice at Gunter’s (German’s rest near NASAM, Jln Tuaran).

Met Abel Chai(nice boy working with me on my small scale of charity movement which i tried to initiate last year — Kong Si Fatt Chai, sir).

Anyway, the youngsters from Taiwan are simply fantastic. Many DO NOT appreciate the show much(80% of them!!) … nope, i m not going to replay my monkeys-stories. Haha. But, the show really fantastic … wonder how long they trained and since very young? Well disciplined too. Teamwork … everything needed to be a QUALITY human. Only the audience are disappointing lot. They were walking around, some walk off half way … the couple in front of my seat busy sms-ing! Haha. They PAID rm50 each for sending sms? Wow .. that will be a VERY important sms! Either a big business or perhaps getting someone laid. LOL

I appreciate ANYONE to place comments, tho i hv been very mean to warn many NOT to put any comments! Haha. Now, there are few COMMON SENSE/LOGICAL explainations. Let say it took me 1 minute to shortly reply to their messages, HOW MUCH OF MY LIFE BEING SUCKED by replying messages? hahaha. Even waking up 4 in the morning willnot be enough! I will be mourning, instead of saying .. morning. LOL

You may get Liang Wen Fu’s song from me, you just need to ask — and if i like you, I might be kind. I m NOT obliged to answer you. emoticon

Oh yes, it is interesting to get a ‘nice’ comment frrom a student called him/her-self FUCKER. Haha. Rudely trying to piss me off, but i could only pity him. NOT a student/child fault, I would see it as PARENTING problems. Lack of love from PARENTS … lack of attention give to HIM/HER. Other than that, he/she SHOULD be seen as good. Life could be THAT subjective, u know. Haha. Wait … wonder why he/she viewing my pages? Too much time … perhaps to get attention? Hmm … many reasons but i think i wont elaborate … deleted. Haha

RESPECT

morning … nice assembly. Supposed to start 7.45am BUT as Malaysians, we dont start functions or anything on time, do we? Then, Lee was telling me that in Germany, people respect TIME greatly and PUNCTUALITY is a must. And I shared with him the culture in Japan … no nonsense when it comes to punctuality. I could only ‘endure’ with thinning tolerence on the inconsiderate of Malaysian society.

Respect is NOT in their dictionary … they can park their cars anywhere they want(i paid the road-tax, u know … damn u, they cursed), ignore parking tickets … talking when the candidates trying to speak their mind/words … etc etc. Do i need to point out what my poorly informed society about their IR-RESPECT of many things? Parents/teachers will DEMAND respect! Wow … you respect me, i m talking to you … or else … Is that a threat? hmm …

Do you respect OTHERS time? i seldom have the chance to start my classes on time as some donkeys will ALWAYS be late! Hmm … you may point it out to them, you may want to punish them(i NEVER believe in punishment, not for 18yo) … you gave them warning … etc etc but as it is NOT registered in their system, they will continue IR-RESPECT the time. Are we going to blame anyone? Have you ever attend a wedding dinner in MALAYSIA started PUNCTUALLY? I seldom attend any wedding or function!! May be twice in whole year? WHY? Because i might accidentally spit-out some facts/truth … such as … errr …. WHY are they not starting the function yet? Isnt it written 7pm but it is 7.10pm now? Wait … an hour later, it is 8pm now? Hmm … that statement could not be acceptable by monkeys around me … hai ya, be patient la. You so hungry meh? (not matter of hunger but RESPECT of TIME) … previous monkeys never start punctually, being the current monkeys we need to keep up the tradition la! Haha

10.10am

Got to go for another class soon … shared the above RESPECT words with my year 1 students. Haha. I was having fun. LOL. Yup, i might be doing crazy things … but i m sincere with full respect. Hmm …

Letter from Jeff Ooi To USJ-Subang Jaya

Folks,

I was championing the Local Community cause alongside many of you since 1999. We have seen too much of Malaysia under the present circumstances, and that the general consensus is to make this country better in governance, in legislative process, and in equitable sharing of national wealth along a non-communal approach.

Talk is cheap. It’s now time to walk the talk. I have decided to run for Parliament in GE2008. It’s going to be a Parliamentary constituency in Penang, for me, running on the Opposition ticket.

While I aim to win, so that I could further the cause to bring in a better governance to this country, I am aware of the uphill task ahead.

You may have asked a question that I am often hurled at: Why Penang? And why not Kelana Jaya/Subang Jaya, or Puchong parliamentary seat?

The answer is obvious. Subang Jaya is just a battle. Correcting Malaysia is a whole war.

So we have to take a look of GE2008 from a strategic and tactical perspective.

For example, you are familiar with the corruption and judiciary mess in the country. But are we aware that GE2013 will be based on the re-drawn constituency boundaries scheduled for 2010? What are the chances that gerrymeandering won’t take place blatantly again?

Coming back to Penang.

Penang gives us the platform to craft a model for Future Malaysia. And don’t forget, the incumbent Prime Minister come from Penang. Change will have to come from Penang.

You may read more about my personal appeal in details here:

http://www.dap-elections.com/2008/0…come-to-penang/

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I m quite surprised that Jeff running for Penang. All the best, buddy.
Got to go for my rotaract club meeting now. Tonight … yeah … no tuition! I m going for chinese cultural concert, in support of fund-raising for STTSS.
my son, the future drummer … haha. Everything in place for another performance! Well, my sis Feleene gave me rm400 to buy him a toy drum!! I m thinking of buying a Tabla(an indian kompang). hehe
4.30pm
Nice meeting — Rotaract Club will be formed. Election of the 6 posts this Fri. School election for SC will be tmr. So, i m sort of BUSY la. Yup, see how far i could bring my club to higher level … it is like a chance for me to contribute, yet again. Hmm … how come i never really ask WHY ME? Hmm … rather always thinking WHY NOT? Arrgh … i will slowly exposing myself again. Better of home to play with my son now. To release stress … LOL
Top Hai-O agents earn RM1mil a year
PETALING JAYA: Hai-O Enterprise Bhd has developed over 110 millionaire entrepreneurs, of whom 95% are bumiputra, since the setting-up of its multi-level marketing (MLM) division.
These entrepreneurs, supported by a group of down-line agents, are known as crown diamond managers (CDM). Last year, more than 10 entrepreneurs earned RM1mil each.
The commission structure is subject to the performance of the CDM as well as sales generated by his down-line agents.
“It is not easy to reach this level. All the CDMs earn five-figure incomes every month,” group managing director Tan Kai Hee said during the appreciation dinner yesterday.
He added that the partnership shared between Hai-O and the CDMs promoted integration between the bumiputras and the Chinese. Hai-O imports and markets a wide range of traditional Chinese medicines.
Financial controller Hew Von Kin told StarBiz the MLM division’s contribution to revenue this year was anticipated to increase to over 75% for the year ending April 30, 2008 (FY08) from 50% in FY07.
Hai-O’s third quarter results, which would be released next month, would remain “intact” given the buoyant performance of the MLM division, he said.
In the first six months ended Oct 31, 2007, Hai-O made a net profit of RM16.2mil, or 91% higher than the previous corresponding period as revenue grew 72% year-on-year to RM139.8mil.
“Our training programme does not merely focus on direct selling but includes cultivating entrepreneurial skills like marketing and promotions, inventory management, cashflow management as well as people management,” Hew said, adding that these skills could also be used in other businesses.
Every month, Hai-O sees about 2,000 new recruits joining the MLM business. Hew noted that the trend had moved towards the younger generation, including those with university degrees and professional experiences.
He said the MLM division still had a lot of room for growth, as the buying and selling momentum was strong given the variety of products.
During the dinner, the group donated about RM100,000 to four orphanages.
“Won’t Go Home Without You” by Moron 5
I asked her to stay but she wouldn’t listen
She left before I had the chance to say
Oh
The words that would mend the things that were broken
But now it’s far too late, she’s gone away
Every night you cry yourself to sleep
Thinking: “Why does this happen to me?
Why does every moment have to be so hard?”
Hard to believe that
It’s not over tonight
Just give me one more chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won’t go home without you
The taste of your breath, I’ll never get over
The noises that you made kept me awake
Oh
The weight of things that remained unspoken
Built up so much it crushed us everyday
Every night you cry yourself to sleep
Thinking: “Why does this happen to me?
Why does every moment have to be so hard?”
Hard to believe that
It’s not over tonight
Just give me one more chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won’t go home without you
It’s not over tonight
Just give me one more chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won’t go home without you
Of all the things I felt but never really shown
Perhaps the worst is that I ever let you go
I should not ever let you go, oh oh oh
It’s not over tonight
Just give me one more chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won’t go home without you
It’s not over tonight
Just give me one more chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won’t go home without you
And I won’t go home without you
And I won’t go home without you
And I won’t go home without you
Trading
Jaks 1.23, Ranhill 1.96, LionDiv 1.56
Many REDS in stock data. Hmm … no comment. Now, i hv to say AGAIN that i m a novice, my experience in trading is less than 3months old. HOW can i teach ANYONE anything about trading??! It is too arrogant of me if i said I know plenty … coz I DONT. I m sorry if i mis-lead ANYONE that i m a pro — but, i always LET OTHERS to know that i hv only started 3 mths ago … reading books and such. I m learning … will appreciate IF anyone like to SHARE(two ways learning) about their opinions. Nope, i m NOT interested with TIPS as i DO NOT believe in tips. Power is in my hand(Ryan Giggs’s Celcom adv).
Martin Wong … will attend his seminar 3 years later
3 years LATER, please come back to visit me(IF I M A SELF-MADE MILLIONAIRE but still driving Kancil) … by then, you need to PAY me for my advices. I will open classes for potential stock-investing learner … and earn MONEY from both — YOU and KLSE.
If i m not able to be rich($$ sense, I m VERY rich at the moment, thank you), then NO POINT to learn from me, right? Many CLAIMED to be good traders … remisier, for eg … but are they earning MONEY from KLSE? If not, WHY listen to them and NOT doing your own research, keying-in your own data to ANALYSE them YOURSELF? Why trust me when u could do the similar procedure? WHAT? YOu want fast money??! Err … wrong platform la … i m driving KANCIL. Haha
Anyway … I will talk about my weekend tmr morning … now, i prefer to play chess online. Yes, i seldom come online IF i m not at school. I m waiting for 7.30pm where i hv another class. Mag n Er attending a family gathering(which NOT suitable for uncivilised person like me, I might say some truth and the monkeys around might get very upset! Scars and shits that we hiding … blah blah).
Didi : I was not blown away during my 100m run … in fact, some ‘nice’ people said i ran fast, k? Haha. My bro’s dog is part of family … he is 35, bachelor … driving new Camry! Haha. Nope, he is NOT interested with stupid "drama queens", as he always put it. So, the dog is a daughter … not GF(gf can masuk lubang ma … haha).
Didi: Sorry about the document — it is kinda sensitive and classified. Many names(politicians and Drs) being mentioned, and supposed to be editted, approved before being published in Ministry website. It will be inappropriate of me(my credibility at stake too) to let others to view some sensitive issues discussed/debated. If this document landed in somewhere/someone who has his/her self-agenda in the ministry, my ‘mentors’ will be hot-soup too. Sorry. Kinda serious la.
Currently i m writing about NS = national Service … and will be debated in a convention end of this year. Nope, I wont be there but my "mentors" will edit and speak appropriately to concerned parties. This is POLITIC in Malaysia we are talking about here — arm-twisting and many things to be taken into consideration BEFORE being shown in MEDIA. Media is a political vehicle to win votes, for your info.
morning … i woke up 5.30am. It has been in my bio-clock that i woke up 6am too when i was in KL. Anyway, i meditated this morning … at 6am, i watched discovery channel, Shaolin In Berlin. Interesting … and if u r QUIET while watching this documentary, u could FEEL many values that the six monks trying to convey, while they travelled OUT of their Shaolin temple(in Sung Mountain) for the fisrt time to go to a place where they will hv a cultural shock?! Nope … it is the other way round, the Germans will hv the shock if they get to know what Shaolin is all about. That is their mission … to let the naive western society to understand that Shaolin is NOT about Kung-fu which Hollywood(Bruce Lee, Jacky Chan and Jet Lee — to Chuck Norris etc etc) protrayed. It is knda stupid of ANYONE to believe shaolin is kung-fu. As chinese, i do (like all young monkeys will) tried to kick and haik like on the tv/movie … today i hv deep respect of Shaolin and its culture. Deep understanding of the teaching of Buddhism is much needed (which i will acquire in later part of my life, God’s willing). Kung-fu is only an exercise after hours of meditation/prayers in Shaolin temple. Wow … that is another deep phylosophy …
Election
Nation election is on … i hv quitted politics 8 yrs ago … I stayed in Kepong when i was young. Dr Tan Seng Giaw(DAP) was the main man there and Kepong is DAP strong hold. I voted at Seputeh, the last time was Teresa Kok(DAP) as my i/c address is my aunt SK’s. But, i actually worked with DAP PJ. The head-quarters is near Stamford PJ. Yeah … one of the people working behind the scene, no glamour … unknown. Only a pat-at-the-back by Lim Kit Siang. Till today I admire Lee Lam Thye very much and have collection of books/article about him. Great man, i appreciate knowing him. Service above self, a true person.
That poster is NOT by BN or DAP. Election is on in our school … running the student body. In fact i wanted to squeeze some brains but was advised by Election Board(EB) to let them be. OK … fine, they hv to face me too once they are elected. Hmmm … wonder what is the taste of brain-juice? Sweet!! I squeezed many! Haha
Cars parked outside the school that causing loooong jam! Hey, i love my kids, u know. Otherwise, i wont be paying them to study in STTSS, buy a huge car (Ninja King the white one, Honda CRV the black one) for the comfort of my kids! Haha. Selfish idiots, selfish chinese, self-chinese-ed jerks. LOL. I laughed cynically at the stupidity of these PARENTS? What?? U call that parenting … to the best, man. What are you DIRECTLY and INDIRECTLY teaching your innocent kids HERE? You are more important than hundreds cars trailing at the back? Or will you defend and say … just a while(half hour??!) only ma … or hey, i bought big car to show off la, u stupid-kancil owner! Haha. Did i point into your nerve? Cool it man … perhaps u may want to meditate with the monks? No? Monks cant fuck? Hai ya … monk cant show their BIG cars? Hai ya … monks dont understand life like you do? Hahaha … WTF are you again? Parents? Hahaha …. dont … stop it .. i m laughing my ass off. LMAO!
Californication <— RHCP
Psychic spies from China
Try to steal your mind’s elation
Little girls from Sweden
Dream of silver screen quotations
And if you want these kind of dreams
It’s Californication
It’s the edge of the world
And all of western civilization
The sun may rise in the East
At least it settles in the final location
It’s understood that Hollywood
sells Californication
Pay your surgeon very well
To break the spell of aging
Celebrity skin is this your chin
Or is that war your waging
[Chorus:]
First born unicorn
Hard core soft porn
Dream of Californication
Dream of Californication
Marry me girl be my fairy to the world
Be my very own constellation
A teenage bride with a baby inside
Getting high on information
And buy me a star on the boulevard
It’s Californication
Space may be the final frontier
But it’s made in a Hollywood basement
Cobain can you hear the spheres
Singing songs off station to station
And Alderon’s not far away
It’s Californication
Born and raised by those who praise
Control of population everybody’s been there
and
I don’t mean on vacation
[Chorus]
Destruction leads to a very rough road
But it also breeds creation
And earthquakes are to a girl’s guitar
They’re just another good vibration
And tidal waves couldn’t save the world
From Californication
Pay your surgeon very well
To break the spell of aging
Sicker than the rest
There is no test
But this is what you’re craving
[Chorus]
… another song by RHCP that i like Snow(Hey Oh)
I was about to walk up the stage to jerk the MORAL EDUCATION studying monkeys(they will be having Moral test later, many holding the book! Haha. What a sight! Got to go for classes …
My babes drops further …the electionwill be on 8th Mac … Hmm … everyone is cautious. After election, some analysts pointed out that another 10% correction will be done — which I do believe so(seeing the over bought counters like mrcb etc etc). So, it will only be wise to go into AFTER the corrections being done … even that NO ONE could tell you when. Or is the bear here … a loooong huge bear to eat up all the values  … yummy
I read this words to the noisy yr 1 during my Maths class!
When we love others, we listen to them. Sure, it takes time and effort to focus on them andd hear what they are saying. But when we do, it shows genuine concern and respect.
Hear my voice according to Your lovingkindness — Psalm 119:149
.
Didnt teach much la … in fact, i invited a few to leave the room(i walked out 5 minutes to allow those chickens to go — they need to READ Moral Education for their test! Haha … lack of moral, no education there!)
.
ISIC
next week will be my last week with them — i m not attached with them emotionally, but it is kinda natural for me to feel for them. I do hope Adam could do a better job than me.
As i m leaving the class, i share with them my blog address! Arrghhh …. more monkeys viewing what they SHOULD NOT, seeing the inner thoughts of mine. Hmm … I warned them NOT to comment. LOL. All these surrounding are a great joke to me …
Anyway, READ MY BLOG at your OWN RISK. If your minor brain being corrupted, press contorl-alternate-delete! LOL
But, anyway … if i could teach u a pointer or two(besides the dead Maths problems), i will be glad. No need to thanks me … i got plenty of such, i wonder if they are sincere? Thank God, if u believe in Him.
Feleene, my sis … a very leng-lui of Kepong. She is beautiful in my eyes because of what she has done for the family. She made her own knitting — see her hand-work. :)
My bro with his daughter, Wan Wan(the dog), me with my son Wan Er(named after the dog as we are family! Er = no 2 in chinese, also the double meaning Er= son). My pretty sis … my two aunties(my mom-in-heart) and my beautiful wife(carrying our second! hehe)
My Valentines? Hmm … nope, MY family la …
morning … busy since 8am la … err … i dont celebrate valentine for past 10yrs. Just simple sms or words. I DO NOT condone the stupidity of the society, giving in to capitalism … conquering their emotions and BUY certain products to SHOW love? Har?? So cheap one ar, your love? Haha … even flying to japan for a valentine dinner is CHEAP. See how many define Valentine? They dont even know the ACTUAL meaning/history of Valentine! Hey, i m not going to wake u up la … go ahead to buy rm15 per stalk rose … BUY 101 stalks to show … err … love? Hmm … i wanted to be cynical of the stupidity but i think i rather smile away and say … HAPPY Valentine, everyone. I loveeeee you all, always. Haha. Words are that cheap, u know. If u dont love me anymore, i will jump from Yayasan Sabah(tallest building in Sabah? I suggest Mt Kinabalu) ..
Weird Al’ Amish Paradise <— thanks Vishal(one of my yr 2 students).
 Yup, i hv heard most of Al’s songs? LOL
As I walk through the valley where I harvest my grain
I take a look at my wife and realize she’s very plain
But that’s just perfect for an Amish like me
You know, I shun fancy things like electricity
At 4:30 in the morning I’m milkin’ cows
Jebediah feeds the chickens and Jacob plows… fool
And I’ve been milkin’ and plowin’ so long that
Even Ezekiel thinks that my mind is gone
I’m a man of the land, I’m into discipline
Got a Bible in my hand and a beard on my chin
But if I finish all of my chores and you finish thine
Then tonight we’re gonna party like it’s 1699
We been spending most our lives
Living in an Amish paradise
I’ve churned butter once or twice
Living in an Amish paradise
It’s hard work and sacrifice
Living in an Amish paradise
We sell quilts at discount price
Living in an Amish paradise
A local boy kicked me in the butt last week
I just smiled at him and turned the other cheek
I really don’t care, in fact I wish him well
‘Cause I’ll be laughing my head off when he’s burning in hell
But I ain’t never punched a tourist even if he deserved it
An Amish with a ‘tude? You know that’s unheard of
I never wear buttons but I got a cool hat
And my homies agree, I really look good in black…fool
If you come to visit, you’ll be bored to tears
We haven’t even paid the phone bill in 300 years
But we ain’t really quaint, so please don’t point and stare
We’re just technologically impaired
There’s no phone, no lights, no motorcar
Not a single luxury
Like Robinson Crusoe
It’s as primitive as can be
We been spending most our lives
Living in an Amish paradise
We’re just plain and simple guys
Living in an Amish paradise
There’s no time for sin and vice
Living in an Amish paradise
We don’t fight, we all play nice
Living in an Amish paradise
Hitchin’ up the buggy, churnin’ lots of butter
Raised a barn on Monday, soon I’ll raise another
Think you’re really righteous? Think you’re pure in heart?
Well, I know I’m a million times as humble as thou art
I’m the pious guy the little Amlettes wanna be like
On my knees day and night scorin’ points for the afterlife
So don’t be vain and don’t be whiny
Or else, my brother, I might have to get medieval on your heinie
We been spending most our lives
Living in an Amish paradise
We’re all crazy Mennonites
Living in an Amish paradise
There’s no cops or traffic lights
Living in an Amish paradise
But you’d probably think it bites
Living in an Amish paradise
Haha … he is not weird, he is hilarous! LOL
GANGSTA’S PARADISE by COOLIO featuring L.V.
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I take a look at my life and realize there’s not much left
coz I’ve been blastin and laughin so long, that
even my mama thinks that my mind is gone
but I ain’t never crossed a man that didn’t deserve it
me be treated like a punk you know that’s unheard of
you better watch how you’re talking, and where you’re walking
or you and your homies might be lined in chalk
I really hate to trip but i gotta, loc
As I Grow I see myself in the pistol smoke, fool
I’m the kinda G the little homies wanna be like
on my knees in the night, saying prayers in the streetlight
been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
keep spending most our lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
keep spending most our lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
They got the situation, they got me facin’
I can’t live a normal life, I was raised by the stripes
so I gotta be down with the hood team
too much television watching got me chasing dreams
I’m an educated fool with money on my mind
got my 10 in my hand and a gleam in my eye
I’m a loc’d out gangsta set trippin’ banger
and my homies is down so don’t arouse my anger, fool
death ain’t nothing but a heartbeat away,
I’m living life, do or die, what can I say
I’m 23 now, but will I live to see 24
the way things are going I don’t know
Chorus:
Tell me why are we, so blind to see
That the one’s we hurt, are you and me
been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
spending most our lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
spending most our lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
Power and the money, money and the power
minute after minute, hour after hour
everybody’s running, but half of them ain’t looking
what’s going on in the kitchen, but I don’t know what’s kickin’
they say I gotta learn, but nobody’s here to teach me
if they can’t undersstand it, how can they reach me
I guess they can’t, I guess they won’t
I guess they front, that’s why I know my life is out of luck, fool
been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
spending most our lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
spending most our lives, living in the gangsta’s paradise
Tell me why are we, so blind to see
That the one’s we hurt, are you and me
Tell me why are we, so blind to see
That the one’s we hurt, are you and me
Looking into some stocks that being pressed down and below their instrinsic values — Transmil, LionCor, Satang, Bornoil, Esso, Calsberg, Pos, … my babes are being pressed down too. Never mind .. cheer up, babes .. it is Valentine .. for CP’s sake! Haha
three of the out-going SC but they were not under me. See from the pictures … they are beside me. Haha. Double meaning BUT many could not read my lines properly. English as they said is a difficult language — u may say one thing, others interpret it dfferently. Hahah. Especially life could so subjective … that is the MOST beautiful part! Hehe
Thanks Dai-Dai for the valentine HUG but never do that again in front of my 130students. Some might hv the crush on me, they might get sad! Haha. Some might be thinking we are haveing affair? Haha … such a naive society
Thank Jeremy for the BRAND’S … you deserve the A la … my tuition classes only help a little
Thanks Michelle for being the leader of your group. Hehe
I m a guy too, a young monkey too, u know. Hmmm ….
