Orientation Night

Students can be VERY creative and talented when they are given a free hand to do what they want to do(and enjoy). I admired new generation where they could find the chance to illustrate their talents.

I was one of the judge — Mr Lee(male, the older one), Barbara(f, older one) and Lee Fen(f, young one) Me?? Male n Young one. LOL. I do enjoy myself(as always) tho i need to think of the evaluation of each performance.

Regina and gang won the singing category — they done well, with the sax given much impact on the "entertaining" points. Delhousie & Jaclyn done well too. ABBA’s Dancing Queen … nice.

Nelly’s Dilemma <— one of many songs i liked very much. Catchy.

After the show, i went to staff room, getting ready to go home. Hmm .. the two colleagues of mine were sulking away, complaining!!

1. They shouldnt allow the male to ACT like a gay, teaching students. It is an insult to teachers! Are we gays?

My Thoughts : Oh, c’mon. Why so defensive? They are acting .. enjoying themselves and try to be FUNNY. If u fail to appreciate the funny part of it, then too bad. Dont be soooo square and get upset/offended due to ACTS? Really a monkey-kind of teachers! Enjoy la sikit …

2. How can they allow them to sing chinese songs when we emphasize on SPEAKING english in school?

My Thoughts : Get a life la! Songs are universal … language is just a tool! If u dont appreciate music, songs … shut-up of learn to love music la. Nothing to do with ENGLISH la. Why? Trying to show we are good in that command? Haha. Speaking English … NOT singing, right? How about if i want to show my talent singing Malay songs? TALENT-TIME is to show TALENT … a non-academic issue here!

3. The guys dancing with under-wear lines seen. So obscene.

My Thoughts : Haha. I laughed at the stupidity, or shall i say hypocrisy. So what if he drops the jeans and his Calvin Klien red underwear shown? Is it HE … even females, I seen so commonly. WTF with that? Yup, we teach values to students in school BUT dont ACT … it is talent time, let them enjoy la. You old people dont know how to enjoy, shut the f***-up! Call me a pervert or whatever your brain has preceived … i dont mind seeing dirty dancing or such … as to me, it is seen as ART. If u see nudity as DIRTY/OBSCENE, then many French’s artist need to be XXX as they use that widely as ART! Silly … we all share similar anatomy, u know. Our society put the constraints into our perimeter(in our views). Get real … it is no big deal once you know HOW to differentiate. Otherwise, shut-up(and drive?)

EB meeting

Sue Anne chaired the meeting very well. Impressed. Good. With me as Student Advisor, the EB or SC(new) will get more of a piece of my mind. I will just blast it off what bothering me. Hehe. It is official meeting and some are NOT wearing school t-shirt. Never mind that we were late for 15 minutes. Some wearing slippers/sandals … like going to beach! Hmm … i blasted them off. Hmm …
